  • I took a tour here back in 07 and was really impressed. This is a neat area about 2 or 3 miles to the south there's a smiley face water tower which can be seen from Lucy the Elephant.

  • I remember seeing this when I was a kid on a family vacation to NJ. My mother told me that it had been a hotel, which, while being a popular story, is not true.

  • My boyfriend's father is a Margate fire fighter. He said he gets so many false calls to Lucy the Elephant.

  • how is this not more well known?

  • I go to school in Margate. <3

  • If you go to Atlantic City - a few miles south in Margate is a sure stop for some WEIRD NJ culture! Worth the visit!

  • Paint the bitch, she needs repairs made to the window in her hoo-hah, keep this dame up, she's a legend.

  • I only live 15 minutes from Lucy but I've never been inside. Tried to go once as a kid, but it was closed for the day. Since then the radio commercial's made it so annoying that I've had no desire to go back... but it actually does look pretty cool.
