  • 4 example, in r culture, "ethics" is really a matter of degree, 4 r social system promotes + rewards competition and self-interest. This perspective doesn't just "lead" 2 aberrant behavior... it creates it directly. Corruption is the norm in r society + most people do not C this, 4 since the society supports this behavior, it is considered right + normal... or as a matter of degree.

  • Fluid social change can only materialize if two circumstances r met. 1, the human value system, which consists of our understandings and beliefs, must b updated + changed through education + thoughtful introspection. 2, the environment surrounding that value system must change 2 support the new world view. The interaction between a person's value system + their environment is what influences human behavior.
