Hey, I really appreciate this, but is there any way I can use my existing login system and hook into phpbb? I have created my own login system using the sessions tutorial provided by you. I was expecting phpbb integration to use the same login system. Instead, this approach seems like having phpbb login system used as a framework for the entire site. That is not an option for me. I would really appreciate it if you could guide me on this. Thanks, you are doing a great job!
Great tutorial! I was browsing on the internet for a simple way to integrate that kind of information on my website (but even phpbb's website isn't too clear regarding this). Anyway, man, you type so freakin' fast at times it's inhuman haha.
phpMyAdmin is just a popular interface for MySQL. It is a popular way of manipulating MySQL databases with most hosting services. I would certainly recommend it as the easiest way of managing MySQL databases using a web interface.
As long as phpBB has been installed properly on your server, you won't need to install phpMyAdmin at all to make Alex's example work. He is just using phpMyAdmin to show us the database.
yeah this is all correct, and also bare in mind that if you install WAMP, XAMP or LAMP as you generally will if you want to develop websites phpmyadmin is already included :)
thanks a bunch, all the tutorials on phpbb forum are shit.. thanks..

Cover your mouth with your hand

3.Close your hand (fist)
4. Hold your hand at heart for 5 seconds
5. Send this to 3 more videos

Why do we need ob_start if we use session_start ?
cheatonly2win 1 year ago
@cheatonly2win Take a look at ob_start() in the php manual. I use this function so header() can be used without error.
