Mitchell, it's been a while :) 30stm is my favorite band. I thought I could never listen to anything of Jared's in a cover by someone else and be satisfied with it. I don't think a lot of people know how autotune even works. You WOULD be able to hear it. Not entirely the T-Pain junk, but even just a slight variation in raised or lowered pitches, as the hardware/software attempts to correct the sound.

this is so incredibly good... what I don't get is how you can sway back and forth into the mic and your vocal tone and volume never changes. I mean it stays so consistent with the music but you're moving away from the mic and forward towards the mic and nothing changes. What's your secret?... my husband is a sound tech who has worked with Danny Elfman and mixed tracks for Disneyland so he's pretty much pro in the industry. He says you're using a condenser, effects and an autotuner. I want one!

Thanx, i sway back because if i do higher vocal parts the volume of my voice get louder, and if i stay where i stand and do the high bit it overpower the gain. And your husband is for 99% right, i use a condenser mic and effects but no autotuner, i just dont get why people keep saying that. You can clearly hear it when someone uses it.
