omg! thank you so much! Now I see why my nails used to break so easily! I use a metal nail filer!!!!!! I just threw it away as soon as you said to ahahah. Gosh! I've been struggling with brittle nails and now I know why. I'm pissed lmao
I love how you did your eyeliner!!! It looks awesome! I also love the shape of your brows. I wish mine were that shape. Mine are thinner and I cant shape them as well.
A lot of people say don't file back and forth, but in one direction. A manicurist I spoke with said it depends on how strong your nails are. If they are strong, it's not a bad thing to file in two directions. But in any case, short, light strokes with the files, rather than a sawing motion with the file.
I like your videos.. very nice! About the way you file your not suppose to rub- left right.. left right.. only one stroke if you don't want flakes and rough skin.. especially if you don't moisturize... Awesome though .. do continue!
Oh my goodness!!! I ADORE your eyeshadow look at the beginning of this video! I feel like I am always bothering you for your eyeshadow looks so I am sorry but I have to know! hahaha What colors did you use? It's lovely!
hi =)i really like your tutorials...but i have a question: shouldn't you file the tip of your nail from side to side...i mean from one side to the middle and from the other side??? =)
I always did the same with my right hand!!! :o))) My mom was laughing at me when she saw that, but it's really much more comfortable to move only your right hand if you're right-handed!
go to nailaidcares . com for really good nail care products like nail oil, hardener, fast drying top coat, strengthener, repair gel, etc. they also have a GREAT formula for stained dark or yellowing nails
Argh, I have weak nails and I need to file them. I grew them a bit - I need to find good nail strengthening polish and use it. Anyways, will this sort of filer better to avoid nail splinters?
why shouldn't we use a metal nail file? how does it damage the nails? I've heard that a lot but dunno. I like better the metal one 'cause is thiner and I can handle it better, still, well if it damages my nails I may change it, but I never understood why it is bad. Anyone knows?
Don't change! It is so nice to see someone who laughs and smiles instead of looking bored while making a tutorial! You look like you really enjoyed what you do.
i heard the same thing about the one direction thing but i'm not going to go on about it because u already heard about it from a lot of people anyways thank u for the vid it actually helped me figure out how i'm suppose to file usually i would file randomly not knowing what i'm doing even though i might look like i know what i'm doing but i don't great vid!!! :)

You should never file the sides of your nails because it can damage them bardly and cause them to break. I know from my own experience.

It causes nail splinters plus it decreases the nails strength

I thought you were supposed to file nails in only one direction because it reduces cracks in the nails?

i don't know about it.
