Imagine the opportunities an upcoming company would have if they made a game for the "vanilla" players. Theres millions of V-players out there searching for a game that will remind them of the old wow days and not ruin the game with pandas....
I seriously miss Vanilla WoW, back then, we all worked together as a team, and we treated everyone like family. There were no trolls, dicks, or anything like that. In my opinion Blizzard should introduce different types of servers based on the expansions and give each account one transfer, including level change if your too high, to bring back the good old times and memories. Blizz should really consider adding a feature to switch login screens/music and all that from all expansions. also it would be cool if they added realms where you only level to 60 or 70 and make the old raids have more of a value. i would love to see some changes like that.
My most memorable WoW day would have to be sat in front of my Christmas tree on my laptop Christmas 2004, going through the first few levels with so many other people in the starting area! It's dead now. Nowhere was dead in Vanilla. I miss that first Christmas I played WoW.. I was eating Celebrations too! ;D
@dariokustura Not really. I mean most people level alts nowadays using heirlooms. They spend a tiny amount of time in the starting area, and even then the majority of WoW's population are 85, sat down spamming /2 in the cities. So yes, even though there are more people, they aren't exploring the world like they used to, 'cause most of what people do involves queueing systems nowadays.
@dannygmzz Aye, I remember when it took effort to get the money saved at level 40 for your first mount, and having an epic mount was actually considered "epic". They've made the game far too easy now for everyone
god damn it this touches my soul i missed this the first time i entered wow seeing you can pick the night elfs, the orcs, the undead... running around the night elf starting area asking how i can leave to explore the other parts of the world people telling me to go through this pink thing and i'd try to go through the pink things that surrounded the plant quest haha omg i miss wow as a noob as well Mrmonkeypooface is right =P it felt so magical back then now its just feels like numbers....
Burning Crusade was the pinnicle of wow, true some things were imbalanced (like mace stun, immortal resto druids and rouges with warglaives) but overall it had the most balanced pvp and challanging pve. So far cataclysm has been a failiure, and im glad that patch 4.3 is the final patch.
love this music, makes you feel like you could do anything! If only there was a way you could make it play the old music now instead of the new cata music!
I think Wotlk was the worst expansion imo, almost played nothing at all during those years. Vanilla was best of course, TBC was almost as good! Cata is okay, but not great.
Wrath and BC were my favorite expansions ever. I wish i could relive the magic of wandering the seemingly endless map and encountering the elite seeming players with perfectly matched tier sets... Seeing a dk wandering teldrassil in his epic armor. Good times...

@SmoshFan8123 No this is Wotlk's loading screen. BC's loading screen for Kalimdor looked way different, it had a tauren shaman or druid, a female orc warrior snarling, a troll rogue, a female nelf ranger, and a sly draenei woman.
Bringing back the memories, being a noob in a whole new world, so magical and mystical... so many quests and regions! The atmosphere of the game was the best.
In the beginning, when it was only WoW, and no expansions, horde had no paladins, right? Cause belf were the first ones to be able to have paladin as class. in the horde. Awesome with undead paladin.
1:17 :D its magical , powerful , colossal , massive , immense ! It's heroic , ancient , and all people like it ! Even old soundtracks are better than the new ones.

Aaah, the good times... When epic still was epics, and everyone still didn't know what a raid was... I remember the first time someone asked me to join a guild around lvl 15.. "Hey! Wanna join The Burning Blade?" And I was like; Where is that?

ah hearing this makes me remember my newb days, me a nelf sexy druid wanted to get to darkshore but didnt know flightpath existed, swimmed all the way there to die in the middle of the sea.
Anyone else remember when wow took skill? 2 dwarf priests for onyxia? back when fear ward was dwarf only. one dwarf priest would fear ward the other dwarf priest and that dwarf priest would fear ward the tank, if this didn't happen, it was a wipe. Also when tranq shot wasnt trainable, you needed to loot it from Lucifron in MC and then use it on the very next boss.
Nothing matches the fun of leveling your first toon... no matter how incredibly lost or clueless you were. I leveled my paladin all the way to 60 using some messed up holy/prot spec that made no sense and meant killing mobs took forever. Still epic. :) Being said because I didn't have enough money for a mount at 40 and then finding out paladins get a welfare mount was a big highlight. :)
This music just makes me smile, I can't help it. Sure, some of the original feeling is gone, but is it really the fault of the expansions?

@Hisako - Yeah I remember that same feeling - also remember as a dwarf running through wetlands up to Hillsbrad at lvl 10 or 11 because I wanted to see the Nelf city - seems i went the wrong direction back then hehe. And bring back the Darnassus > Ironforge Gauntlet for low levels hehe

I don't really like the WotLK title music.. i wish they added an option to change it. And the menus too, i loved the originals, the music always made me want to play the game, WotLK music mostly makes me NOT want to play and jsut the whole damn computer. It.. really.. sucks..
aye as Sm0kingJay said, the loading screens were introduced a short time before The Burning Crusade came out. They had put draenei into the WoW universe in places like Swamp of Sorrows. The music however, is the original WoW Login screen music. Each expansion after vanilla kept the same basic music, but changed other parts of the tune to make it either more appealing etc.

I leveled my paladin all the way to 60 using some messed up holy/prot spec that made no sense and meant killing mobs took forever. Still epic. :) Being said because I didn't have enough money for a mount at 40 and then finding out paladins get a welfare mount was a big highlight. :)

This music just makes me smile, I can't help it. Sure, some of the original feeling is gone, but is it really the fault of the expansions?
Since the alpha version of the game, it's changed so much that it's effectively evolved to an entirely different game. Anyone seen the 2001 Gameplay trailers? Wow.

I remember whan guy warrior help me out in ZF he had 3 parts of valor set Man I though he probly would kill everybody Look sooo awsome And whan i got my mount on 41lvl cuse lack of money i ride for most of night in kalmidor For fun of raiding it self speciualy whan u walk or run all 40lvls; )

@Hisako - Yeah I remember that same feeling - also remember as a dwarf running through wetlands up to Hillsbrad at lvl 10 or 11 because I wanted to see the Nelf city - seems i went the wrong direction back then hehe. And bring back the Darnassus > Ironforge Gauntlet for low levels hehe

@Mechanic1945 I remember trying to run through Ashenvale on my Tauren shaman back at about level 17....i got to the Lumber mills of Venture Co. and to some Dark mountain looking terrain and thought.."uhhh i don't think im supposed to be here" haha.....good old days :D

I don't really like the WotLK title music.. i wish they added an option to change it. And the menus too, i loved the originals, the music always made me want to play the game, WotLK music mostly makes me NOT want to play and jsut the whole damn computer. It.. really.. sucks..

aye as Sm0kingJay said, the loading screens were introduced a short time before The Burning Crusade came out. They had put draenei into the WoW universe in places like Swamp of Sorrows. The music however, is the original WoW Login screen music. Each expansion after vanilla kept the same basic music, but changed other parts of the tune to make it either more appealing etc.

Yes, but this could've been taken whilst TBC was around, and that affects the loading screens even if you dont have it.
