Lin and Lanfan are the names Viz went by in the official translation of the manga.
Ling and Ranfan are what they were called in the scanalations before the those chapters were officially released in English. And they did call him Ling in the viz edition of volume 8 before suddenly going by Ling in 9. :/
Yes, the "official" book translations that you can buy in stores say Lin and Lanfan. Other translations that are found online usually say Ling and Ranfan.

Well, the prison bracelet that he wears in chapter whatever says "LinG Yao", but I don't know about Ran Fan/Ranfan/Lanfan/Lan Fan/ninja chick.
