Yeah that's real light travels far quicker then sound waves however the smoke from the nuke wouldn't have disapeared that quick thats not realistic.

@r8qt7 I didn't hear an immediate explosion, I heard an explosion a couple seconds after the bomb blew up. That's because sound air travels slower than the speed of light. So when the bomb blows up, you will see all the smoke and fire first, then the sound wave will come.

Kind of like lightning. First you "see" the lighting flash. That's "light". Then you "hear" thunder which is like "boom".

So, I got straight out of Vault 101, went to that junkie Silver's house. Killed her with a baseball bat, stole her 400 caps and her gun. Went to Springvale Elementary killed all the raiders, took their weapons. Went to Megaton, spoke to Mr Burke, using the Black Widow perk to get an extra 500 caps out of him for rigging the bomb to explode. Then I proceded to murder every resident of Megaton. When everyone was dead I made my way to Tenpenny Tower and detonated the bomb.
