  • Expensive, maybe. Most expensive? I seriously doubt it. Best sounding? Not even close. The last carries the weight unless you're just in the conspicuous consumption business. People w/ the most impressive systems I know go out of their way to do two things: Build/mod/restore to cut costs and go purposefully out of their way NOT to foist it on other people as a social cachet mechanism. I wouldn't have learned about most of them, had I not struck the friendship based on the love of music!

  • $200,000.00 more like $200 hahahahaha!!!!!

  • Why are you using a Furman power conditioner? Why is there an effing dinner table in front of the listening space? More than retarded...

  • damn rich white people i bet you just bought the equipment just to spend money

  • Nice system but a waste in this space. If you can afford 200k supposedly, than spend 10k for a small garage and another 5k to get it acoustically sound.

  • Well, at least the kids will be able to listen to "The Wiggles" at their table durning Thanksgiving. "Worlds most expensive"? Not even close.

  • @TheStache57 Jeremy Kipnis's stereo is by far the most expensive.around 9 million now. I agree with you 100%

  • @flyinghigh1988

Jeremy Kipnis doesn't have a stereo he has a $6 million home cinema. And the Snell THX Music & Cinema Reference Towers in Stereo with McIntosh amps aren't 9 million bucks!

  • by far not the most expensive system!! What a joke.

  • My DJ PA system = 8,000$ and shits on that! lol

  • shit my car is better

  • looking at your "honey" i think you worked for 50 years in a factory to buy a pair of speakers,,what a douche....:-).....I'd still do her though....

  • Nice system. You need a better room. Too small. Thanks for sharing.

  • Guess you had no money left for a better camera..lol..

  • You

  • UMMM.. YOUR SPEAKERS IS KEF 105-2 ... AND I HAVE ONE PAIR SINCE 1980'S BEFORE ITS TOP OF THE LINE .. AMAZING STILL SOUNDS GOOD ...fr. davao city philippines

  • @abengyu112751 Ummm, these are probably Vandersteen. Kef 105 have rectangular shape and grill cloth around the top.

  • I hope the furniture blocking the sound path is just a temporary installation---otherwise it's a huge waste of whatever you spent.

  • It doesn't matter if it's the most expensive or not. I love this guy; folding chairs, $20 art piece on the wall, tiny apartment.... but one kick ass stereo. Bravo!!!

    Good for you!!!

The only thing more priceless than your stereo is the wife that let you buy it. Man, she's a "keeper". ;o)

  • It does not matter if the system is $200,000 or $1.000.000...Apparently, you are NOT an audiophile (judging from the setup and environment) and you will not appreciate the sound no matter how much you spend for a system.

Besides,a true Audiophile would never name this video as " $xxxxxx "or " most expensive system" etc..

Sound quality is never judged by the price but the right combination of different parts and the acoustic environment.

    Regards!

  • That looks like a horribly configured $5-10K setup. Most people would laugh at the fact that he is using a PC as a source. Even if you had a high end soundcard, its trash compared to a high end standalone transport.

  • 200,000/? yea right....recording with the most cheapest shittiest camera

  • Want a medallion or something???:D:D

  • Should be in a larger room with sound treatment.

  • haha yearh whatever man... your system is not that good.. you should have buy B&O thats more sound for your money ;)

  • hahaha.. i wanna bet you that my cerwin vega VE 12 are louder :).

  • Comment removed

  • @jewzii1 cerwin vega are dog shit and worth less

  • you got fucking ripped off

  • The Esoteric gear is cool.. But this is NOT the world's most expensive by any stretch of the imagination.

  • it sounds like my grans old hifi. wste of money.

  • more money than sense. just look at the room its in haha

  • The setup is $200,000 so it MUST be good. Omg marketing is so full of win.

  • Speakers too big for the room, too close from the walls. It's not the most expensive, there are turntable that cost $200.000, amp for $600.000 etc. But the price is not important, the choice and placement is important. In a small room like that, with bookshielf speakers like 25 dynaudio anniversary (€5.000 I guess), or other speakers in that genre/price, i imagine that you can have a better sound... Waste of money. Uggly room btw.

  • horrible music, you paid too much.

  • i did spent less yet better than thesee..way less

  • that look on her face says so many things like

y did u spend so much

i could have had a bigger diamond

i could have had more clothes and shoes

ha but any ways nice setup, but horrible room and placement.

  • What cd are you playing please. The system sounds excellent however i dont think its the dearest considering certain highend products that are on the market. A set of Focal Grands are about £100k alone. Will appreciate the name of teh cd if you can.

  • That is a nice looking system, but there are amplifiers that cost $200,000 all by themselves. This isn't a pronouncement on the sanity of those that pay $200,000 for such an amplifier, but the claim wasn't to any sort of value, but to 'the most expensive', and that's just not the case. There are much better claims to fame that one's audio system can aspire to, but the end goal is enjoyment and if you enjoy your system then that's what matters.

  • $200 000 ? jesus.... my system sounds is 10 times better than this and you can buy 1000 mine for your price lol

  • @DJJEFFCLIVEISATROLL I'm not sure what kind of experience you have, but judging by your name, you must be a DJ, right? Now, I must say I have no experience with that, but I do know that some of those professional DJ turntables can cost $1000+

I am a 14 year old kid that has a vintage "hifi" stereo system. I must say that i know more than the average kid when it comes to hifi, though. My Hifi stuff is on my channel if you want to see it.

I inherited a lot of my stuff, but spent about $300 now

  • a top setup sir but you have absolutely no taste!!..

  • You must love punishment. You aren't fooling a few people at a party. You are showing the world your comment. Your system looks nice, but more like $50k max. There are speakers alone that cost $1,000,000. Amplifiers alone that cost $350,000. Why would you print something so totally wrong?

  • god , those seakers are craaaaap =) i heard them once on the hifi show its a real crap ;sss

  • My stereo system is all "vintage", I only paid about $210 towards it. There is no reason to have a home stereo system that costs more than 5,000 to 10,000 dollars even if you are an audiophile. Anything over that is just blowing some money because you have nothing better to do.

  • OHM walsh speakers?

  • The most expensive home stereo in your dinning room? bullshit.

  • both speakers firing straight into chairs - lol

  • If thats 200g sell it and buy a decent room and chairs

  • go to higher fi web page you will find the most expensive hi end .by the way....lousy speakers

  • World's Most Expensive Stereo System $200,000? HA!! Try this one for size, cheapskate: Turntable: Consortium Audio Labs Caliburn: $149,995 Phono Preamp: Vitus Audio MP-P201 Masterpiece: $60,000 Preamp: darTZeel NHB-18NS: $29,500 Power amps: Wavac SH 833: $350,000 Loudspeakers: Cabasse La Sphere: $172,000 Cables: Audioquest Everest 12 ft pair: $21,000 CD Player: dCS Boulder Scarletti: $79,996 Interconnects: Tara LabsThe Zero: $14,900 for a grand total of: $877,391 & sales tax
  • $200,000!? and they have it set next to the kids table? too funny!

  • To invest in that kind oe equipment and have a dining table in the way is a complete waste of time!

  • This is not the most expensive stereo. There are power amps that cost $400K for a pair. Just get a Meridian and be done with it. or that size room - pair of dsp3100's and a 12 inch sub with a reference CD p

  • this is nice but not nearly the best. Buy a pair B W Nautilus Prestigue hooked up to 8 mono power amps, that is one for each driver and right there that well surpasses the 200k mark. Add matching speakers for the center and the rears with all those amps not tom mention the other components and one is looking at over a million dollars easily. Now that is a stereo. Oh I forgot the Turntable, A decent one at least another 100 k.

  • not the most expensive.

  • Oh dear oh dear, what a shame

  • These things are nothing compared to what a custom built system can do or sound like. I built all my boxes and bought my amps and other equipment online. As long as you have good amp, a good equalizer and quality original recorded music you'll be astonished to what you hear, this is just a waste of money. but hey, if you can afford then why not.

  • my system is much more cheapper and its much better ^^

  • agreed. have you seen Chickens home audio system?

4 fi btl 15's subs that are usually in cars and for setting world records. steave meade took those and did 2 towers with them. know im sure its expensive but probally under 10grand with ease and still out performs a lot of home audio systems that over charge. more and more people are using car audio systems and subs for home audio due to great wattage load and lower in prices

  • @yeahthrowingdownroc If the aim is volume, then yes, car audio components are the way to go. However, home audio is about the music, about reproduction, rather than SPL. No doubt, Chicken's towers sound good. But they were designed to be loud.

Overpriced...not always. Expensive, sure. But much more engineering goes into making them sound exquisite, unlike car audio components, most of which are SPL-aimed.

Out-performing most home audio systems...that really depends on what you are comparing.

  • @yeahthrowingdownroc It doesnt matter how loud it is if your actually listening to music. Audiophile setups are about reproduction, not how loud something can be. Big subs are not that impressive. SOmething that reproduces all audible frequencies perfectly and with a flat frequency response is what important for an audiophile type setup. Besides, using 15-18 inch subs makes for very slow and flabby bass response unless you have an amp with a REALLY high damping factor that can control them well

  • LOL- folding chairs

  • 1. Not the most expensive

    2. pathetic environment, waste of system

    3. you have money to afford this but not better cam?

  • So, is the computer included in the 200, 000?

  • wow... only like 200,000 kids in india dont get to eat cause you needed a pioneer stereo wrapped in silver...

    cute, real cute.

  • @nnorrellim lol very tru if all this rich son of guns wouldnt kept there millions or even billions dollars sitting in thier banks world will be a better place lol

  • whats so great?

  • i agree...awesome looking rig..but where did you find my grandmas mp3s?!

  • Cool stereo! Next time I want to hear some Winger or CCR rocking from that fabolous system.
