In order to avoid all that, the hijab reduces those temptations considerably, you would have to deal with her intelligence, her moral values etc

However you are right it is not JUST because of numbers. The Islamic cases are also lower simply because women in Islamic countries are more afraid to report cases of discrimination. Firstly, workplace discrimination IS a larger problem in non Islamic problems, you are right, but this is because there are MORE women working in total, so of course more problems will arise. If Islam does consider women equal, WHY under sharia law do daughters get less money than men? @yougonasorry How can he say it? He can say it because his holy book wholeheartedly supports him and his claim. He is wrong of course as Islam, like it's two brothers, is a load of rubbish. You are a reasonable a reasonable person, but a Muslim really only in name. You pick and choose what you want to follow while this man actually does what his book tells him too and because of this, although he is vile and despicable, he is, at least, honest and practices what he claims to believe in.

@Highdracco No, it all comes down to interpretations, Islam clearly states that you should respect other religions however, he interprets some verses or hadiths in a way that allows him to vilify Christians and jews, generally non-muslim. Saying that this lunatic practices Islam by the letter is absolutely wrong, if that was the case every single Muslim would deep down want to slaughter every Christian and Jew... let's be reasonable here and back up your arguments.

No one cares about islam, they are welcome to it. it keeps them segregated and alienated from the rest of the world, which is how the rest if us like it.
