  • this is truely amazing. great intonation. fantastic playing. just the best thing i have ever seen in my life. i will make a shrine in my room to yo yo ma. a pesoa que tocar a tamborin e muito legal tambien

  • Love It! Piece of cake, had found the entire album for free download at DownloadMusic/./im, take away the slashes and you are to good to go..

  • It's chorinho music, the predecessor to samba. Jesus Nazareth was one of the innovators of this sound, heavly influenced by Bach and that Brasilian sound that combines the beauty of this way of playing. This is very well done.

  • I really like it, great 'fusion' of music ideas .

  • could someone tell me what is the name of this music, please? it is really awesome!

  • I'm brazilian and i think yo yo ma deserves a brazilian citizenship ehehehe

  • are you a fool

  • this song sounds really good!

    i like it! :)

  • Amazing video!

But I miss the bass guitar lines of choro. Sergio and Odair didn't worked the way I would like to hear. But remember: I'm not bad criticizing.

    It's undoubtely AMAZING!

  • Fantastic vid! Tell me if I'm wrong, but isn't that the Assad bros on guitars?? They're the finest guitar-duet in the world!..(their sister, Badi Assad, ain't bad either!)

Incredible vid,in deed, thanks for sharing!!

  • Fantástico!!!!

  • two great bass players; terrific concert; Yo You was able to capture the spirit of the chorinho; not many foreign musicians can do it. thanks for sharing this beauty

  • Is this an actual song? If so, what's the name?

  • No. This song is "1 x 0" (or "Um a Zero") of Pixinguinha and Benedito Lacerda. The name is the score of a soccer match. Brazil won Uruguay. :)

  • Thanks. Out of curiocity, how do you know so much about this particular video?

  • I know almost nothing about this video. I've just watched it for the first time. But this song is a standard of "chorinho" (a brazilian music style) and Pixinguinha is one the greatest brazilian musicians of all time.

  • Thanks, thats pretty cool to know. I just like it Because I play Bass, that and the claronet is pretty good, and Yo Yo Ma is always good. The whole thing was good.

  • I enjoyed this group so much. First class performers.

The joy I get makes my heart swell with so much love for music.
