  • so pretty! i want savannah cats!!

never declaw. cats with claws rarely or never scratch when treated respectfully. if you declaw a cat, you reduce it to its teeth. i've never met a claw-full cat that would bite

  • this cat looks like it took Ecstasy the way it rubs its face on everything

  • OMFG I WANT ONE GODDAMNIT!!!!!

  • The only thing I didin't liked actually... is your carpet.

  • It seems that the cat has a foot fetish or something

  • 1:03 me: woooooow

  • i want a savannah cat so bad ;v; beautiful and loving cats <3

  • That's not a giant cat. AREAS IS A COLOMBIAN Tigrillo. Is an animal in danger of extinction and may not be HUNTING domestication

  • my cat is a Savannah F1, so cute!

  • @pipidores does he spray?

  • isn't that thing the cat does with the shoes like marking her territory?

  • What a gorgeous, beautiful animal.

  • Cats got a foot fetish haha

  • mmm-mmmm feet mmm feeeeeet xD

  • @nieuwmadgamers2010 it is possible to train them to use the toilet, i know this much.

  • my F5 savannah triec to marry my shoes!!XD

  • savannahs are a cross breed of serval right?? using artificial insemination??

    i think i'm right!!

  • i want one too ;(

  • I love how the cat hold on to the person it cuddles with! <3 "I'm going to cuddle you to death" ^_^

  • dont trim or declaw and all the shit, use nail caps and your all done

  • this makes my tabby look like a cheap pussy..i feel poor now :(

  • It is really a super Tom cat !!!

  • very adorable and fun thumbs up

  • does this type of cat scratch stuff up??

  • Aw...It has a foot fetish lol XD so cute

  • Do you trim their nails the same way you would a regular domestic cat? Just maybe need to use dog trimmers instead of the ones for cats. Actually I use dog trimmers on the very tall 30 lb. cat I have now. Trimming a cats nails is not at all difficult, just need to be very precise and careful. ,,,,>^,,^<,,,, I will never understand why anyone would be so cruel and declaw. Or why a vet would even agree to it!

  • @woolftwo I agree. Most, nearly all vets in the USA declaw cats and make a lot bucks out of it. I am not Magic's human companion. I expect her claws are trimmed in the usual way but I am not sure.

  • @woolftwo Thank god it's considered illigal to declaw your pets in the netherlands even if the cat destroys furniture etc.

  • @woolftwo

Another option instead of declawing or having to constantly trim the nails is a product called Soft Paws. It is a soft silicone cover that you superglue to the nail, they fall off when the nail sluffs off naturally. I have been using them on our cat a regular domestic cat for a while now and they seem to work well, and its a good compromise. They last pretty long, and keep the cat from damaging furniture or my skin too.

  • @kens97sto171

Yes, I've heard those work very well. But unfortunately I am allergic to the glue

and the silicone. Otherwise that would definitely be something that I would be

    using!

  • @woolftwo One time we had to babysit a declawed cat. Most violent beast ever. But chances are that he was so aggressive because he must have felt cornered all the time without having claws to defend himself with. Declawing a cat would be like cutting someone's fingers off at least halfway.

  • PVP FTW

  • i hate that these are illegal in my country (Sweden) only F4's or F5's are legal over here because the F1/2/3's are "too wild and agressive" pfft... this cat seems to be nicest cat ever! i might just have to move to the states and get myself one of these =P

  • @moggiola F1s are not automatically aggressive. It depends on how they were raised.

  • @broadsurf yeah, as with most animals. but the Swedish government loves to conrtoll it's people with rules and restrictions :( they are going to make certain races of dogs "illegal" in some areas too. like pitbulls and amstaff and so on.

  • @broadsurf This is very true. Which is why I don't believe the novice cat owner should own one. In fact, they have higher energy which some people might mistake for aggression because the animal gets frustrated if not given proper exercise and mental stimulation---like every other pet. In general, I would say if this is going to be your first time cat, you're better off picking something else (DSH/LH). But if you have experience, they are wonderful cats.

  • @moggiola My state not only allows them AND Servals, but we have a lot of breeders for them. The price depends on Filial level as well as how the cat fits the breed standards. Sometimes, the breeder will sell some really cheap if it does not meet "perfect" standards as well as coat. The snow ones I saw at the breeder's were very healthy but because more people want Gold, they sold for only 1500. VERY cheap for an F2. But she does do house checks so you better be ready.

  • @moggiola NOOO they are, oh I so wanted onee!

  • @moggiola Your English is better than most people in the states xD

  • i had a cat like this when i was about 10, but it was stolen we had it for about 3 years ;(

  • its the lebron james of cats

  • 0:45 jesus christ, it nearly licked the crap out of the outer kitten.

  • what is this cat called? and how much would it be for a kitten?!

  • @FranK43BratT Her name is MAGIC

  • @FranK43BratT I think the cheapest I have found is for $950 and the most expensive can be up to $22,000!!

  • Hi, why is the cat on a leash? Does she run away or is it the risk of someone stealing her?

  • @skolms Savannah Cats are VERY expensive... An F1 is around 22 thousand dollars. The leash is there to ensure when they are out in public no one is going to steal them or so they do not run off.

  • Its really a great animal man ^^ !!!

    great video !

  • danm 1:04 it flew

  • Did anyone else get an ad that was actually relevant to the video? =3 Yay!

  • @PerianArdocyl I know the ads are irritating but they help pay for the work in preparing the video!

  • @broadsurf ^^; I hope you don't think I was being sarcastic... I was just saying I was glad that the ad was relevant to the video. Normally, it's something totally unrelated, but if the ad is something I might actually be interested in, well, that's a step in the right direction.

  • F4s are legal in Australia don't believe everything in wiki. Also there are NO native wildcats to Australia. There are feral cats but all of these are domestics gone wild.

  • @sonarmb Hi, I would like you to write a short article about that on my website. I can't enter the website URL here because YouTube won't allow it but if you search for "pictures of cats" you will see a listing that says "Pictures of cats, probably the best on the internet and much more". There is a navigation bar link "say it here".

  • @sonarmb News to me. Last I checked only F5 plus were legal in Australia.

  • I am in the process of buying two Bengal cats. One male and one female. With breeding rights. I won't be breeding to sale. I'll be having a little family. I'm so excited!!

  • It would be great if they can breed this with a persian! :D

  • i wish i could have one too BUT what i wouldn't do is to take her to the cord like the people in this video do it

  • Hello I hear that you dont actually own or know magic or titan too well but I guess i would like to ask you some questions anyway. Are you from Australia and if so, do you therefore know if they are legal in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia? Also how much would a healthy one with good genes and parents cost? Hope to hear from you soon so please read and reply if you can.

  • @PatrickHanibal

I just read on wikipedia that all savannahs are banned in australia. sad panda.. they are ridiculously expensive though so chances are like me that you cant afford one anywho lol.

  • @fullflavoryum Oh really!. That sucks. Oh well. Ill just have to settle for a ragular house cat lol. Thats a big let down though. Does it say why they banned them? And yea they are expensive but i was going to save up lol. Thanks for the post though mate.

  • @PatrickHanibal

Apparently it is because they are afraid they will mate with the native australian wildcats and give them better hunting abilities and such, unbalancing the ecosystem. I'm inclined to call hogwash on that but hey what do i know.

  • @fullflavoryum Oh really? Yea i call hogwash on that too. I doubht that anyone will let their $20,000 savannah go missing.

  • @PatrickHanibal

agreed. plus they based that ban on reports online of them being huge and aggressive. Hopefully they get that turned around soon.. And if they do, you can get an F1 Savannah for 8-15k but I am aiming for an F2 for around 5k usd. They are often just as big if not bigger than F1's and are said to be more reliable in temperament. You may also want to check on whether SBT Savannahs (or more than 4 generations removed from the serval) might be legal there, and are only 1k usd.

  • @fullflavoryum Good to kmow mate. Thanks for the information.

  • If only they werent so expensive.. OMG I just love theese huge cats... Wish someone would give me one LOL

  • @heiditogjoey LOL. Know what you mean. But you need space and time.

  • @broadsurf ohh I have both space and time :-) ut havent got the money ...

  • Svar på denne video ... and i just love to see how they cuttle

  • She is gorgeous! Is she on a raw meat diet?

  • @MishalMooreLover Hi, I don't actually live with Magic or Titan. I made the video. I suspect that the person who does live with Magic, feeds her a normal domestic cat diet. She was raised as far as I know on a normal domestic cat high quality diet (wet and dry) and some raw (chicken).

  • @broadsurf Oh, okay. Thanks for the quick answer :)

  • can u get these things declawed?

  • @ttiffom2016 Please, please don't declaw. It is unnecessary and cruel. You don't buy a magnificent animal like an F1 Savannah and then modify it for your convenience and at the expense of the cat's health and natural anatomy. The thought makes me sick.

  • @broadsurf pls excuse my ignorance, but how does declawing affect the cats health?

  • @ttiffom2016 look at @anatrue s post, it is pretty much obvious.

  • @ttiffom2016 Possible mental health, aggression, nervousness (litter problems) acute post operation pain and sometimes pain that stays (shards of bone left behind) leading to more operations. If you had the tips of your fingers chopped off with a guillotine (the most usual way) in 15 mins (the normal time frame) would you say that you suffered no health problems?

  • @broadsurf ..how much does cost

  • @ttiffom2016 it be better to give it nail caps

  • that song scared the hawk out of meh heard that monkey voice AAHHHH!!

  • how big is the difference in the attitude between an f4 and f7? is the f7 way more domestic or does it like to chase other animals like the ones closer in the relationship with a pure serval?

  • @almablack22 I think there is not much difference between f4 and f7. They should both be well socialised and get along fine as domestic cats.

  • she looks like she's in heat in some of those clips lol

  • I love this cats!!! I would like to have one but it's too expensive!...Really well done this video!

  • Damn that cat likes to snuggle with hands/feet etc. <3

  • @TheBeth00 F1 Savannah cat. Telephone A1 Savannahs in Oklahoma.

  • beautiful

  • min : 2.26 me encanta

  • wtf??F1 is the name of this cat??'

  • @svetlanalupesku No, F1 stands for first filial or first generation from the wild. The cats in the video are Magic and Titan.

  • @svetlanalupesku is formula 1 lol

  • Awesome cat, wish I was rich so I could have one too.

  • lol i named my kitty ashira

  • @gloomyoutlook A serval is a wild cat, and not domesticated. It's that kind of animal that you like to see in the zoo, but not in the wild. It's just not a pet. A Savannah cat is mixed with a domestic cat, so it is a nice pet. But F1 should still be a bit wild.

  • kitty needs a nose think

  • very special and very smart cat

  • 0.52 lol i can't stop laughing

  • @ChromeBerry lol..you're so fool...

  • What are the diffrence between f1 to have f5 are those just sizes?

  • @xlukasaurx F1 means first filial of first generation from the wild and f5 means fifth generation from the wild serval.

  • @broadsurf

do you know in what ways F1 savannah cats are different from regular servals?

  • which country do this cat originate from????

  • @Theshofumiah1 United States of America.

  • @broadsurf and whats the diffrence between, the bengal (marble) cat, savanah and ashera. gosh, they all look the same!!

  • @Theshofumiah1 Bengal is an Asian leopard cat hybrid. The Savannah is a serval hybrid. The Ashera is a Savannah cat under a different name.

  • @broadsurf arnt you scared that 1 day! this cat might scratch ur eye balls out. if i were in ur house, and i saw that cat come walking twords me il run out the house like I saw a ghost! lol!

  • @Theshofumiah1 LOL. But you have preconceptions about cats. Magic and Titan are friendly and socialised. They are large but they are domestic cats. If they walked towards me I would embrace them and play with them and have fun.

  • @broadsurf Ur savanas are out the question, when I see a ordinary tabby cat walking twords me slowly (especially the black ones) it spooks me!!! it feels as is it will leap on me and attack me. It is a cat at the end of the day, its not human. so it could strike at you anytime! those programms i watch, ?preconceptions- my ass. sky 153- when good pets go bad!!!!!!

  • @Theshofumiah1 I think you have a fear of cats and it is not rational I am sorry to tell you. It is not your fault. I would gradual socialise yourself to the domestic cat by gradually getting acquainted with a nice cuddly one that a friend may keep. Handle and treat cats properly and you will find there is nothing to fear. Cats are more likely to be frightened of us as we are giants to them and we are far less reliable and predictable.

  • in 1:05 cat flies like an angel.. ^^

  • 1:05 HOLY SHIT

  • Your cats are amazingly beautiful, and so loving, Andreas is very lucky to have such a companion.

  • really cool!

  • I'm seriously in love with these cats!

    they are beautiful!

I just want to hug them! :D

  • That's an awesome cat,I think I will spend my daughters college money to get one.

    I don't think she'll mind.

  • @LucifersCockMeat she'll love the cat alot more then going to college, thats for sure

  • you should let your cat play with corks. :D

  • I love how people are saying that these cats should be in the wild..... but they are purposly breed to be domestic. Savannahs are probably more loyal then a normal cat and love to be with people.

  • @DjHardaFasta You are right. Thanks for the comment. As you say, these cats are domestic cats.

  • i think your cat has a foot fetish...

  • @Krashevil LOL. It is all in the smell. This is scent exchange.

  • @Krashevil lol...ahaahaha :D

  • @Krashevil

LOL! That reminds me of a cat we saw (the owner's cat) at an Animal Hospital. The cat literally would not let go of my mom's shoe.

  • the only thing worse than de-clawing a cat is having a dogs voice box removed so it cant bark...now THAT is cruel.

  • This breed is amazing. If I some day become rich, I'll get a savannah!

  • Comment removed

  • adopt !!!!!!! not buy !!!

  • Where would you recommend to purchase a savannah cat from? I'm from minnesota. Also are they hypoallergenic? I appreciate the video you have an amazing kitty (:

  • @sevie2471 Purchase from A1 Savannahs. This cat breed does have hypoallergenic qualities. Remember that hypoallergenic does not mean no allergens. It means less - not nothing. And there is no science on cat breeds being hypoallergenic.

  • @sevie2471 Start with A1 Savannahs (OK) - Martin Stucki. They are well socialised so don't destroy homes. They are hypoallergenic but this is anecdotal. There is no science of this. The Ashera GD (claimed hypoallergenic) form LifeStyle Pets - Allerca cats - is an F1 Savannah cat.

  • HOw do I like the cat but dislike the editing?

  • 1:05 is insane

  • If you can afford a $22,000 cat than you can afford a new sofa after it sharpens its claws on it. Thats all I'm saying.

  • I went looking for Savannah cats for sale online and they were all crappy looking compared to this one and they were cheap. They looked almost the same as regular cats. I didn't find any high quality ones like this one.

  • i know why the cat loves you or your feet...he wont end as a "coat-carpet"

    :D

  • @FringeAnonymous NO! they are not I live in the Dallas area and own a f3 savannah

  • @FringeAnonymous NO! they are not I live in the Dallas area and own a f3 savannah

  • @FringeAnonymous No they are not I live in Dallas and own a f3 savannah

  • @FringeAnonymous No they are not I live in Dallas and own a f3 savannah

  • im sooo jelous( x bengal breeder )

  • aprilswan, i dont mean this towards you since you said you dont believe in declawing. i used to work at a vet hospital and people would ask to get their cats declawed. this vet hospital never did that. its also illegal in california to declaw i believe the first few generations of savannahs. anyone who declaws their cats should have their nails ripped out and see how horrible it is not to be able to scratch or do anything that allows them to relieve stress. to me, cats will always be wild.

  • @anatrue Appreciate it! Not only does declawing inhibit a cats natural instincts,it also causes long term chronic pain. It's an abhorrent practice and anyone who'd want this for their cat should have it confiscated on grounds cruelty! These cats are amazing but I have issues with how they came to be...nature provides us with an already interesting and beautiful array of creatures so man should be satisfied with this and just leave well alone!

  • @anatrue Good for you. All people who declaw their cat should not have a cat - period.

  • @broadsurf I also work at a vet clinic and I hate declawing, but if it is the case of the cat is using the claws to damage and cause harm then removing them is better than getting rid of the cat or euthanasia

  • You're both wrong. After a short healing period of 4-7 days, cats begin to believe they have claws again and will sharpen them, use them for playing, fighting, etc. I have run my own veterinary practice for the last 25 years, I have the credentials to inform others as to what is true/false. Both of you are misinformed. Leave the back claws in case of emergency, take the front claws out and your cat will never know the difference unless the procedure is performed improperly.

  • @maltzyboy Sorry but your lack of morality is showing. Your breach of oath is showing too. You are a bad vet even if you are a good vet. You have no empathy with animals if you write this sort of stuff. Shame on you. In my opinion you are not fit to be a vet. No doubt you have declawed thousands of cats. Each one is almost certainly a breach of your oath, the foundation upon which you operate.

  • @broadsurf how can you argue with someone who has actual knowledge on the situation?

  • @gunman343 If you are talking about declawing, I am qualified to argue because I am arguing about morality not the actual operation. In any event I probably know more than him about the effects of declawing.

  • @gunman343 Not all vets agree on everything, just like medical doctors have different opinions. Do you believe everything everyone tells you?

  • @maltzyboy Cats can be let loose on the streets and survive because they have internal instincts that allow them to know how to hunt even if they have been fed in a bowl their whole lives. If you think this is not a wild instinct, you are ignorant one. Maybe you are practicing on old medicine because most new practicing vets do not do this procedure. Maybe someone should anesthetize you and take your nails out and then say, eventually youll forget theyre even gone. We left the toenails though.

  • @anatrue I agree. My mom wants to declaw my kitten Sgt. Ozzy Shadow but I don't want to.

  • @anatrue If cats will always be wild to you, be assured that you are one of only a few ignorant people who think that way. Furthermore, Cats are unable to recognize whether they have claws or not if the procedure was performed correctly (I have performed thousands of these procedures). Also, humans do not relieve stress by scratching things... I can guarantee my cats lead happier and healthier lives than any cats you have ever come into contact with, and they have been de-clawed.

  • @maltzyboy Cmon, thats your opinion and Im not ignorant. Maybe you do the procedure but a TON of vets do not because they believe it is inhumane. So there is obviously evidence that this is not entirely welcome in the veterinary community. You cannot deny that it is completely unnatural to do this and not always necessary. Spaying and neutering prevent unwanted kittens and therefore there is some purpose, but whats the purpose of a declaw? To save your furniture? Thats just selfish.

  • this cat is sexy!!!!!!!!!!!
