This actually looks like Season One; not Season Eight as the title implies.

I remember this scene because Clark had asked Lana if she'd ever seen the sunset from his loft and Pete Ross made fun of him for such a corny line.

Also because he'd found out about Whitney's father's heart condition and didn't feel right making a move on Lana.

If I'm not mistaken, I think this scene is from "Reaper" which is the 17th episode of Season One.
