Not generally - bike moves are a social event, and if the person moving is a good host, the move usually costs as much (or sometimes more) than renting a truck. A good bike move will provide coffee, tea, and juice with some donuts or bagels and/or fruit at the start, and traditionally pizza & beer at the end. A great bike move will have vegan/vegetarian options while still catering to the carnivores.

It was great. I haven't made a lot of bike moves this year, but I feel lucky to have been able to do this one. And I got to use my new trailer!
