  • I will probably get flamed for this but................................this was my favourite line up.This guitarist used play the guitar behind his back behind his head he was very good.Great memories.

  • saw them in Newcastle on Tyne early 80s. "Back in the night" is still my favourite single of that era

  • Yeah, He likes the sound of his own voice. Good thing he dosn't sing,

  • The German guy said, amongst other things, "I'm a wanker and this is Dr Feelgood" note his hand action at 0:21

  • naderchaser,....you done nailed it, as did joeyjoejoe1916,......too many better gunslingers on YouTube to suffer thru this,...I'm outta here....

  • God, he looks like he's some corporate mid-level manager that just got fired and is going postal.

  • I love the way LEE understands the german LOL..fantastic ENERGY!!

  • Aretha Franklin covered a tune called ..Dr Feelgood...Who wrote it?...I heard it somewhere ..Dr Feelgood...is an alternative name for heroin

  • Lee played slide like he played harp...all balls and full on!

  • I thought the german guy was never gonna shut up and let em play..

  • Thanks for the video, nice to see Lee and the newer boys playing. I first saw them in the mid 70,s down by the jetty. That was with the classic line up and i've seen them about 20 times over the years, they were such a great live band. They are still performing but I have not seen them since Lee passed away in the early ninties. Dr Feelgood were with Lee the best live pub/R&B four man beat combo ever. ***** yes five stars.

  • HISTORY: The real one & only "Dr.Feelgood" was William Lee Perryman AKA "DR.FEELGOOD" & "PIANO RED"(Born; Oct.19 1911). This Dr. Feelgood was a boogie & blues pianist, his motto was:"Music is Medicine". It's very likely, that in the end William Lee Perryman is the only source for the name "Dr.FEELGOOD".

  • I think you've missed the point here. I love Piano Red AND Dr Feelgood. A lot of sixties R&B groups got their name from blues songs - The Rolling Stones and The Pretty Things are two that come to mind. In this case the name came from the record Dr Feelgood by Dr Feelgood and the Interns (1962) (as you and I know - this was Piano Red) Johnny Kidd and the Pirates covered this song and that's where this Dr Feelgood got their name. I can't see any problem with that. Piano Red rocks, Dr Feelgood rock

  • I agree. I still remember when Piano Red/the real Dr. Feelgood would play at our high school dances down here in south Georgia. There's only one Dr. Feelgood.

  • what??? are you trying to say this aint as good??? these guys from the thames delta are the real deal too !!!

  • grow up

  • What happened to the headstock on Gordon Russell's old strat? it looks like a spear!

  • looks like it broke off

  • Phil trying to look in shades

  • The host is a dickhead announcing that the Feelgoods stepped in at short notice because Toto (?) had an accident. Lee was a true gentleman, bless his soul!

  • Lee Brilleaux, excellent front man for the feelgoods.

They still rock these days and i see them twice a year on average, good fast paced r'n'b

  • Amen, Brother Lee.

  • RIP Lee Brilleaux.

  • Im fortunate to seen them live twice, the second time was in guernsey in the early 90's.I had a drink with them before the gig,he gave me one of them eye poppping stares during the show. You live on:+)thanks for sharing....

  • SUPERB ENERGY!!

  • saw him about 10 years ago in rochdale uk at a blues festival and he was full on brilliant

  • Sounds worse but great show !I met Lee Brilleaux in

France just before he died,he was very kind,a great

man with a big big heart.
