@rocksiphone import taxes won't level the playing field... ultimately such a tax will only hurt us more, its basic economics... in order to level the playing field we need to reduce regulations to encourage growth and move forward on strong principles of morals and values with a little monetary incentives from the government that allow you to keep more of YOUR money if you keep stricter environmental requirements, safety, etc. Let the peoples money to the talking. A stimulus is made to get results, to wake up etc. Most of the money went to unproductive jobs like police, teachers etc. The rest(still billions of dollars) went exactly where bubba007ss said it was. I have traveled extensively throughout the world - my dad was a Diplomat - and let me tell you: China begun his green energy programs years ago for they could foresee this would be the future.
