No you can't unfortunately. All you can do is receive and send messages between Xbox and GFW live.

@gtaiv36 Games like Shadow Run, is a cross plateform game. All games that are for GFWL (Games For Windows Live) are Cross Platform. Like Halo 2, Shadow Run, Dirt 2. and so on.

Not all GFWL games can use cross-platform play. At best you can send and receive messages from Xbox Live to GFWL.

If all games had cross-platform capabilities then there would be major issues with being able to play using mouse and keyboard against someone on a joypad.

Only by a fraction. The GTX295 is effectively two GTX275's on one board. GTAIV however doesn't recognise the card as being two and so you don't get any advantage whatsoever.

Believe it or not but my 9800GTX card runs GTAIV faster and smoother than a GTX295.

Lol after the patch your game laggs. In my game It dont laggs etc but I get on the tanks on airport etc If I shot of them It comes out black fire and yet I cant got into Live I cant sign in I dont know why

I have the same thing like you. If I log in GamesForWindows-Live Its say new update ready blah blah blah .... and If I update it game crashes and If I do it manually its say in game too new update ready. I installed right but yet I cant go multiplayer again.

im playing in windows 7 7100 and my pc runs the game perfectly at max settings...

Have you entered your cdkey yet or does it just log straight in to live? Try manually logging out and logging back in again via live and see if it asks for a cd key to register.

Just the modes that already come with the game. That still includes stuff like 'Protect the VIP' but its fairly basic.

People are constantly modding GTAIV but its obviously going to take a while as its drastically different to previously versions.

Same shit here too and i thought my system was going nuts trying diferent bios settings disabling stuff and before i realized it was their shitty live update. Let's hope for a quick fix. Also when i go online the problem magically dissapears.

same problem here, stuttering AFTER last LIVE update... but the strange things is that it only happens in single player, while in multi everything's ok!
