Bob Costas was always bigger than the NFL, and really any sport he comments on. I remember people tuning in just to see him, and then flipping the channel over to watch "The Andy Griffith Show" or something until his next segment came on.
@BillyT92679 I don't know.. you might see them on Fox -- only because they also have the MLB deal -- they mix them in with NFL scores on the crawl or the corner score update section..
@Tubewings I was at the 3rd to last game when Toronto had a chance to defeat the Yankees for the division at Exhibition stadium on Friday night and lost. The next day they won the game and it was miserable weather back then, at least the Friday game was.
@jbsmg i have one pic of me at the game which was the first one that I went too. The internet has a few good pictures and im sure some videos appear somewhere. A replay of the final saturday afternoon regular season game against NYY would be cool if it was on youtube. That is when Fergie Oliver who announced the game kept sayin' "The blue jays have won it" over and over again.
so basic and simply, i miss old school sports, one benefit to technology is we can watch this stuff for free

hmmm
you'd NEVER see baseball scores updated on an NFL broadcast today
shows how the power dynamic between the two sports have changed so much

@endlessmountain Which ballpark do you prefer, the old Exhibition Stadium, or the currently Rogers SkyDome?
Tubewings 10 months ago
@Tubewings exhibition stadium as long as they were the outfield seats or the premium seats. The benches there past the 1B & 3B lines were terrible.

@endlessmountain Do you have any good pics or videos of Exhibition Stadium?
