I hope this doesn't creep anybody out, but I have such a nostalgia boner right now. This game was easy since I used the zapper-like gun controller for it.
I remember being incredibly impressed with how close this version was to the arcade. Despite some missing phrases like "You missed me, pig!" it's almost a near flawless port.
um.. maybe I am thinking of something else.. but wasn't it possible and easier to shoot the gas tank door of the 'boss van' during the driving portion?
The player here use's the same tactic is me, I reload almost every time I fire, that way you don't get caught with an empty cartridge. The Music in this game sounded like a typical Konami game! Really high energy! The sequal was much better on the Genesis.
Alot of these guys must be brothers too cause alot of them look the same especially the guy with the aviators and sunglasses that keeps popping up in front lol
I don't see anyone can play this without the gun.I used to have the Seda Cd version, and it wa still tough using the gun.I wish Konami would bring this game to playstation3 or xbox 360.
I remember playing this game in the arcade; I definitely want to pick this game up. Sega makes a zapper called a Light Phaser, and the arcade uses the Konami Justifier. Aparently, this game came with the Justifier, because it was made for the Justifier. To play Lethal Enforcers on a Sega, you have to have a D Pad in port 1, and a zapper in port 2. The Justifier has a special port on it's zapper, so you can go 2 player, which you can't do with the Light Phaser (at least with Lethal Enforcers).
I still have trouble getting through just the first stage on easy. It keep sending me back saying "too many rookie mistakes!" (so they re-stage the robbery? wtf?)
You however, make controller shooting look like second nature. Bravo!
If you use the "Team Player" controller adapter and use it to plug in two blue justifer guns, would it work? I still have the Sega Genesis system I had when I was younger.
BTW, thanks for uploading this. Great memories. Me and my sister still sometimes say "YOU CAN'T SHOOT ME" and "EAT LEAD!!" the way these guys do, and we haven't played this game in a decade or so. Fun times. xD
I don't know, but I think there were about four cars in the second mission... and guys just kept popping out of them....Just didn't make sense back then...
Wow this game is the most annoying game I've ever played.. but I love it! I mean it's almost impossible. My highest accuracy yet has been 73% but u need liek 80+ to get to sergent to go to act 2. I so wish there was some cheats tht could get me past this. I might try using the joypad instead of the guns. =]
no. when you shoot a bystander, a neon green sign with "CAUTION" pops up. funny thing is that when you shoot them in the SNES port, they don't die like in the arcade and genesis ports, they still walk away in their "don't shoot" pose.
I counted 71 just in the back alley. Holy crap what's the cut for each of them? Didn't the bank workers see the 10 schoolbusses it would take to carry them all?
you definetly used the rae turbo touch 360 sega controller. I don't mean the xbox controller. the one I'm talking about the D-pad is flat and the abc buttons have a red switch to go from normal to rapid. Oh yeah the D-pad and buttons are yellow color In this case your normal handgun with that controller can be like a rifle.
Don't worry I'm not one to go ape shit on people lol. I do play games that require a lot more than just memorization.
In this particular case, I did know where all of the enemies would be in the first level only. That's the reason why I struggled through the rest of the game, as I was mostly relying on reaction time.
I work at a video game store by the name of A & C Games that buys, sells, trades and rents all kinds of video games, particularly the classics of course!
While the SMS light phaser did fit into the controller port, nothing happened and I plugged it in to both ports too.

Yeah, this is definitely a classic shoot 'em up, GooseHinson! I played the arcade game once and remembered it being a lot tougher than this version. Either way, this game is intended for two players, as it's difficult to do well on one player mode.

Interesting fact:
In the US, this game was rated 17+ by the VRC/ESRB
In the UK, this same game was rated PG by the BBFC, who just recently got stripped of their part in rating games in the UK.
