  • Xtian caller: "I'm not a christian, I'm a True believer in the bible and jesus..."

    Me: *facepalm*

  • LMAO why'd she call in to argue?

  • Also why'd you take her on for so long? i felt kinda embarrassed listening to that. Its like two bullies picking on a retarded child.

  • Sounds like she traded in one addiction for another

  • Shes a true believer in the bible and jebus but she's not a christian? Whats a true believer BTW?

    Only a reli-schizo would understand

  • How can Mormons have the worst sex lives when there are many people from many religions that swear celibacy? Wait...If they do have sex and it sucks turds, then it's a bad sex life. No sex at all don't count. (Alter boys don't count either.)

When they say "No one will know the time and date." is nothing more than plausible deniability. That way they can explain every false doomsday prophesy and natural disaster as a "Sign" of the real Apocalypse.

The Westboro Baptist Cult is NOT a religion.

  • @TheCrimsonification well considering that judism was a cult of caanite paganism and christianity was a cult of judism then the westboro baptist church is a cult of a cult of a cult of a cult? im confused which one is the religion?

  • I still think the intro is too long, but hey, good show. I likes!

  • The only problem I have with thunderfoot is that he's a socialist.

  • @KenMacMillan

    Thats called fairness

  • NATURAL LIMITS TO EVOLUTION: Only evolution within "kinds" is genetically possible (i.e. varieties of dogs, cats, etc.), but not evolution across "kinds" (i.e. from worm to human). How were species living, reproducing if their reproductive system, vital structures, and organs hadn't evolved yet? Read my Pravda Internet article: WAR AMONG EVOLUTIONISTS! I discuss: Punctuated Equilibrium, "Junk DNA," genetics, mutations, natural selection, fossils, genetic/biological similarities between species.

  • @Mogley52 lmao worm to human? Find a scientist who knows evolution that can prove humans came from words, you're retarded. It's almost as ridiculous as humans coming from... clay! Or women coming from... a single body part like a rib or something!! lol absolutely ridiculous!

  • @KenMacMillan ya its a word.but im not sure exactly what he/she means by war.......

  • @Mogley52 Lol. You really are an idiot, aren't you?

FYI, DENIAL=Don't Even Notice I Am Lying. ;)

  • @Mogley52 um ide suggest researching the subject from a nonreligious source fuck you can even find it on wikipedia! it even disproves your arguments! if anything is all knowing its fuckin wikipedia!

  • ALTHOUGH I'M A CONSERVATIVE CHRISTIAN (Baptist), I no longer believe that the Bible teaches eternal torment or suffering. The Bible teaches eternal punishment, but it's not eternal torment. In my popular Internet article, TRADITIONAL DOCTRINE OF HELL EVOLVED FROM GREEK ROOTS, I explain how and why teaching of eternal torment entered early into Christianity and how Scriptures have been misinterpreted and taken out of context to support that teaching. ~Babu G. Ranganathan (B.A. theology/biology)

  • I feel saying that what Tf00t said was "incorrect" was too strong. For one thing it gives the impression that he knows less than me, which I very much doubt. I retract the second half of the final sentence (i.e. "I am just correcting an incorrect statement.") on the grounds that i feel that it isn't true.

  • At 0:31:45 I would say that may be (mostly) true of the 21st century, but look at the conflicts in Ireland all through the second half of the 20th century, the country was ripped apart by terrorist Christians (e.g. the IRA). The Claudy bombing was carried out by a catholic priest. Bombings continue in Ireland to this day, so it isn't just Islam that has terrorists. Don't misunderstand me, I know that barely any religious people are terrorists, I am just correcting an incorrect statement.

  • I love your radio voice

  • I love how this lady comes in presenting herself as the voice of reason....

She is a caricature of herself. The irony is palpable.

  • LOL <3 the delusional christian that calls a atheist podcast

  • Geez i never heard of a religious Korean...In all the years that i lived in Korea, everyone i Knew was Atheist or Agnostic. Poor bloke.

  • Testing

  • You know what the Xtians use as an excuse for TF's question of no historical record for the undead Xtians coming out of the graves. They claim that it WAS recorded but when Jerusalem was destroyed in 70 CE so was the historical records of that time. LOL!

  • Would you consider please uploading these in MP3 and linking it in the info? I'd really like to listen to it on my phone/music player.

  • 24:30 Holy shit, Ben Stein is a secret atheist, who would have thought.

  • atheists should open free steak houses to convert people.

  • obsolete*

  • Its very simple... Islams special "Book" is a little more brutal than the judeo-christian book so their follower will (logically) be a bit more brutal, on average. Theres not much christian beheadings now, in contrast to Islam. All in all its retarded primitive books that are pulling our societies away from a logical rational and reasonable way of life.. Theism is obselete why can't we evolve from this already D:

  • oh wow this is an hour and 14 minutes long? screw that im not sticking around

  • @woodtick71 Yet, you stuck around long enough to write a comment on it, ABOUT it being to long... Logic is for yo :D

  • @DMonGamer i know i'm a hypocrite lol. seems to be a recent development

  • they split int 3 because then there 3 where all he talks is about hurting all muslims when only extremist are bad kind of like that one church that hates dead soliders should we do something that pisses off all catholics or just piss off the extremist in that church

im an atheist not a muslim or catholic

  • while i don't agree with her beliefs, the lady at 52:00 knows what she is talking about.

  • @lucymydog1995 at least, she know what she was talking about when she said that the churches SHOULD give the money they get to the homeless. most of the other stuff she said was pretty strange.

  • thanks for the collab tta, i uploaded our vid, heres a link

    watch?v=LQ-3b58PYJ0

  • Iirc, Christians in USA are at around 75%, not 90%; 16% of US citizens are atheists or deists, and the rest make up other religions.

  • Why hosting this bigot asshole?!!

  • great upload, love it.

  • there is no such thing as the end times, altruistically I believe in the potential of humanity, our species is young but it has so far shown it is full of potential. We humans are capable of greatness a great many challenges are left to be faced by our species, fundamentalist violence is one of them but one day I believe that our species will one day liberate itself from the Earth and from ourselves

  • thinkingatheist, euro chick did not give us something to think about. lol

  • Hmm wow talk about being a hypocrite ... heres a guys who SLAMS moderate muslims for not saying anything AND wants his own critiques ti stay silent and united in the "athiest community" LOL talk about fail

  • HO. LY. SHIT.

is that your REAL voice? i thought the "top 10 creation arguments" voice was from a professional radio host or something.

  • I love 'true believers' that claim to completely believe in the Bible, and yet can't seem to get straight exactly what is in the book? Ugh. She'll believe that demons exist, but when the Bible specifically states that God said to give money to the church, she rejects it. Unicorns and zombies are reasonable, but God telling the people to give money to a common church is completely insane.

Religion DOES this to peoples' brains! Dayum... perfect example here.

  • @Tigranis

That and Jesus *hated* organised religion. I mean, he really loathed it. Thought they were hypocrites and thought of churches and synagogues as defiled presences. Those who pray should do it in silence, in their own homes, alone, "so that He should hear you." It's really funny how people can read all these seemingly contradicting accounts of YHWH, Jesus, churches and prayer and collection plates (oh my) and STILL think it makes sense.

Captive to their own god. How pitiful it must be.

  • @Tigranis

Edit: captive to their own *creation*

  • BOOOOORING, learn to shorten your videos and don't upload your podcasts

  • @Struckworld My bad. I've limited my audience by requiring an attention span.

  • @TheThinkingAtheist well then, i didn't know there was any depth to atheism either I thought atheism was like "Fuck religion, I'm gonna live my life."

  • @TheThinkingAtheist Keep the long vids coming! I am a couple weeks behind now but will enjoy watching every single one when my life frees up.

  • @TheThinkingAtheist thumbs up @ your comment!

  • @TheThinkingAtheist lol:)

Well, at least 900 ppl do :D

  • @TheThinkingAtheist At least 900 people agree with you, for the right reasons ;)

  • @TheThinkingAtheist Ignore him, i like the long video's, make them longer! i have time! i listen while im working and it passes the time.

  • @PhotoShopChannel Me too. I get tired of listening to music after a while and I've been searching for stuff to listen to while I work.

  • @TheThinkingAtheist hahahahahaha! Thanks for the upload, I can't get enough of your sarcasm my funny fellow homo-sapien :D

  • @TheThinkingAtheist lol im actually just closing my eyes in my bed listening to your podcast! Thank you for the upload :)

  • @TheThinkingAtheist no i like them long (the videos) and that u upload ur podcasts :)

  • @Struckworld HAH! How u like dem apples!?

    U got owned by TheThinkingAtheist!!!

  • @Duncdagger HAH! there wasn't any apples to begin with

  • @Struckworld

Podcasts are here for people to listen to. If you are not intrested, you may watch other videos. I myself enjoy these podcasts.

  • @DjMaXXimal well thank you for not being a douche, unlike Duncdagger

  • @Struckworld some people want them to upload the podcast so i can watch it and anytime i want to

  • @Struckworld it's not boring, it entertains me while doing my computer graphics work.

  • @Struckworld this isn't for children per se, though it's fine to listen if you wish. a little too high brow for you it seems.

  • @WinterXL Hey I get where the guy is coming from, there is no proof of God, nor do I think he lives in the clouds. But I didn't Atheism was so... orginized.

  • @Struckworld lol can you not see without your cartoons?

  • @Struckworld What's interesting then? Watching the same old shitty movies that you think are great over and over. I went to your channel. Your idea of interesting is watching Friday the 13th part 5,746.. for the 1,825th time...LOLOLOL

Stop watching shitty movies and learn something about the world. While you're at it, you could take up spelling, I hear that's a fun hobby... Maybe you could also develop an attention span... Don't worry, that should grow in right after you get your first pubes.

  • @2eelShmeal Spelling? Very interesting, I'll try and learn about.

By the way I watch Friday The 13ths Part 1-8, not 5, 746. There are only 12 Friday The 13th Films.

  • its upsetting that yall fuss so damn much on youtube about so much BS when other shit has more weight

  • It is totally underestimated how much the sleeping giant comment pissed people off. I like many of TT's videos but that comment was ill considered because it smacked of a suggestion of ethnic cleansing. I know i'm overstating the case but it was poor.

  • @strangetranceoffaith Obviously there were a bunch of retarded people who completely misinterpreted that comment, then. Hell, I'm not even a native English speaker and I understood it full well the first time I heard it.

  • @uke2se Yes so did but i like to leave juvenile macho posturing to the retards and instead concern myself with adult reasonable debate.

  • @Durakken @TheTomtompiper Nobody is denied their "right to free speech" by being blocked. If i was denying them a right that would illegal. Also, and i dont wish to sound patronising here, you have 3 subscribers I've had over 30k and its a sad fact that if i didnt just block some people my comment sections would 50% trolls and spam. Spamming and trolling ruins a comment section and makes having a constructive debate almost impossible at times

    Coughlan000 2 months ago

  • @TheTomtompiper If that is the comment you are referring to then you read what he said wrong. The reference to sub numbers is a reference to having a larger sub base creates a larger chance of being trolled thus more people are blocked quicker when they show trollish behavior even if they aren't trolls, but seem to act like one.

This goes back to the first comment I made to you. You seem to be lacking reading comprehension and because of that have taken things as true that are not.

  • @Durakken he admits blocking people who annoy or hassle him, and like people who start a sentence with "I'm not a racist " but invariably are, him saying "I don't wish to sound patronising " didn't stop him from being so. You said he would never behave in such a manner and now I have proved you wrong your confirmation bias and cognitive dissonance kick in /facepalm. I have witnessed him blocking people for the offense of raising a question, hence I unsubbed him as I see have many others.

  • @TheTomtompiper ""he admits blocking people who annoy or hassle him"" You must be talking about that idiot coughlan, right?

Because coughlan´s block list must number thousands of people. Coughlan labels many minor critics of him as "trolls", some are trolls, but far from all.

Coughlan is a troll. He attacks people in order to get a reaction out of them, and then get attention.

I find thunderf00t arrogant, but i listen to him. Coughlan is a troll and an asshole who should be ignored.

  • @AtheistMidget You are right and there are indeed arseholes on YouTube, me being one of them, but they are divided up into two groups, consistent arseholes and hypocritical ones, the consistent ones I have a lot of time for, not so much time for the hypocritical arseholes though. I would put TF in the first group and Dick is in the second, but I do feel sorry for him, I think he is suffering from a real condition and it would be nice if he sought help, I don't like to see people suffer.

  • @Durakken I wasn't pleased about being called a liar, so when I had a few spare minutes I checked, the conversation took place on this video, MartinJWillett EXPOSED!! on his Coughlan000 channel however I was slightly in error as I only had 3 subs at the time not 5, not a a single person was "ripping on him" because of it and at that time he claimed to have over 30,000 subs, I wonder how many he has now?

  • What are you talking about "in fighting" among atheists...... Atheists are the same on once point that they are NOT THEISTS!!!! They have many other beliefs so how can you group them together like that? I am atheist and I sure as hell have gotten into heated debates with other atheists about other topics....

  • I hate to see what has become of Thunderf00t and his unhealthy obsession with Coughlan. Thorazine and Cognitive Therapy were designed to help people with this problem.

  • Eurochick made a fool of herself.

  • Sladndering Coughlan by saying he's mentally disabled is not "addressing" him.

Thunderf00t is a fucking eunuch. All bark and no bite.

  • "Which means you believe in giants and unicorns and the walking undead and healing mud and the story of a gúy who lived in a fish's belly for three days and 600 year old people in the Bronze Age and 6 day creation..."

"Well of course I believe in that. Why shouldn't I?"

If facepalming were an olympic sport, I'm pretty sure I would have been in the running for a gold medal.

    Wow.

  • Jesus Glasses :]

  • @Niggeritarian Oh my, I must have overlooked that rule that said I could only respond to people responding to me. Forgive me, I'll try not to follow that rule again. I have read thousands of books, not all on that word. I like to be diverse in what I take in else I would get stuck on one thing and look like an ignoramus like.....you.

  • @Niggeritarian I do not use that word, fool. You made a statement about being blocked, I simply tried to explain why this has happened. But of course, you live in a fantasy world and are unable to understand simple concepts. You are delusional, hence the reason I suggest you get checked by a mental health professional.

  • I used to sub coughlan. I still check out his stuff because he makes the odd good video. But now he is primarily a drama whore. His drama with TF gets the most attention but he's done the same stuff with dozens of people. Its impossible for him to have a civil disagreement. He has to include the trolling, the personal attacks, and has to exaggerate every point. Its sad because he not only causes divisions he detracts from his own arguments.

  • @fortyone0 That's why I unsubbed from Coughlan, because there was no longer any content to the videos. I like TF because he puts work and thought into his videos. You can disagree with what TF says, but at least he presents an argument.

  • @bowlsallbroken Coughlan has made alot of good arguments. But he opens himself up for this kind of response when he engages in so much damn trolling and drama. He has to make every disagreement personal and ugly. At one point he even asked his fanboys to troll TF00t's channel. And its not just with TF00t. He's gotten into so many drama wars with so many people its impossible to keep up. If he could just stick to the issues he wouldn't get that response.

  • @fortyone0

You're correct in that this isn't a black/white issue, but TF isn't innocent here.

For all of Coughlan's trademark nastiness, he's been pretty damned honest. In response, TF has intentionally mischaracterized Coughlan, accused him of acts he knows he didn't commit, and taken him utterly out of context repeatedly - all in the interest of avoiding addressing Coughlan's valid points.

People are taking sides and can't see that *both* of these guys like using ugly tactics.

  • @bowlsallbroken TF did get sucked into the drama and that was his error. He should have just stuck with things like the the Landon Cole Blog TV discussion. Unlike Cole I don't think you can have a civil discourse with Coughlan. He just likes the drama too much so regardless of how you disagree with him it will become drama at some point. But still thats not an excuse for TF to engage the way he did. He should have ignored him.

  • @lotmein20

As for your idea that everyone who follows the Qu'ran believes non-believers should be killed? *sigh* I seriously need to stop looking for intelligent people on the internet. They're clearly few and far apart.

  • @lotmein20

...Derp? I'm sorry, my brain stopped working there for a second. Let me have another look. No? What are you answering 'no' for? I'm pretty sure I questioned more than just one thing in my post, so your reply shouldn't be a simple 'no'. Again, obviously not scared enough as here you are criticizing it. I'm criticizing religion, including Islam, every other day and my apartment complex hasn't been bombed just yet. (That's a joke.) So what the hell are you talking about?

  • Harold Camping - I'll let him off as crazy when he gives people back their money. Some conmen look conniving and shifty, some look naive and innocent... the thing they all have in common is they never give back the money.

  • See, mousegeek, shirehorse9, NakedAtheist, et al. These are the kind of idiots you have to contend with. I mean, if I'm going to be associated with the 'Coughlanites' simply because I defend him in here then you're damn well going to be associated with the morons that defend TF in this video for, I don't really know.

    Enter: AmetReloads. He's all yours.

  • @Pitchguest

    "Enter: AmetReloads. He's all yours."

Give it to Brett Keane. I'm sure he'll be thrilled. :]

  • @Pitchguest i see your butt still aches after being exposed , making racist comments.

i did it (besides that they were indeed racist ) just to show you how easy to get you with the label of the bigot, something that you coughlanoids are so ready to throw away.

pitchfork, why do you pretend you are anything but a fanboy?

  • @lotmein20

...(cont) If people are scared to speak against Islam (which is obviously not true, as you're doing it right now), then you need to ponder why that is. We have 1.5 billion Muslims in the world, and then we have the fringe movement, the extremists, the traditionalists, the Islamists. They are the violent ones. Considering many, if not most, of these hail from Pakistan should raise some red flags. Why do most of them come from Pakistan? Is it religious? Is it political? Ask questions.

  • @lotmein20

Yeah, well, you need to consider the geopolitical situation. Namely Pakistan, where 99% of the population is Muslim. However, Pakistan does not follow the Qu'ran. The niqab, the burqa, the oppression of women, etc, none of this is stated in the Qu'ran. So the culture in Pakistan is derived from both religious AND POLITICAL influences. Mainly traditionalists who wants to keep these non-Quranic traditions. It's like if the religious conservatives in the US would take over. Same thing.

  • @Pitchguest hey moron .the niqab and burka were not part of the culture of pakistan.

it was introduced ,as in Afghanistan, by Islamic puritans.

there are good reason for that.

    Mohammad did, Muslims follow .

the niqab and burka originate from mohammads dictation to his wives. you can get much higher than that.

and pakistan full name is Islamic republic of pakistan, and yes it follows sharia.

  • @AmetReloads

This will be my absolute last time I respond to you, so pay attention: I said the niqab and the burqa DOES NOT EXIST in the Qu'ran! Of course it was fucking introduced. By most likely Muslim misogynists who felt women showed too much skin, or some shit like that. And no, it didn't fucking originate from Muhammad's dictation to his wives. Stop fucking lying. You're not any good at it! You sound like an idiot, type like an idiot and have the gall to call me a moron. Now! Good day!

  • @Pitchguest quran , morron, isn't the only source for islamic traditions.

there are also the hadiths ,mohammads biographies and tafsirs.

and yes thats where burka and niqab originated from, admitt that you are ignorant on this issue as in all other issues you talk about.

  • @AmetReloads Most traditions are based on historic rulings. So, there is that in addition to the text.

  • @AmetReloads

... ... ... ... I'm going to break my own rule here, again, just to reiterate: you really are pants on head retarded. The hadiths? NOT WRITTEN BY MUHAMMAD. Hadith is the interpretation of the Qu'ran. Same as the Talmud are interpretations of the Torah. It's not fucking rocket science, mate! By the way, also written one-two hundred years after Muhammad died. What's important is the Qu'ran (you know, their fucking holy book) doesn't say anything about it so shut your gob, you moron!

  • @Pitchguest im giving you some harsh punishment and you come buck asking for little more..?

    ok coughlanoid.

the quran wasnt written by Mohammad either... go ahead research it.

..and now you going to dictate to muslims what their islamic faith's holy text are?

so what if they were composed (not written) 200 years after the quran? New testament was composed 300 years after Christ.

lol you silly silly coughlanoid, is there anything you speak off, that you know what the hell you are talking about?

  • @lotmein20 yeah, that's the type i'm speaking of.

  • @lotmein20 well then i support your cause 100%

i'm only speaking of the one's who go out of their way to attack those religious people who do not actually harm others.

  • i'm an atheist. but this is a sess pool of nonsense.

there's no reason to be so proud that you're atheist. i mean it's pretty obvious to most, but even if someone is not, so long as they're not harming you, just leave them alone. you do not become more intelligent through being atheist either. There are many who think otherwise but they're only fooling themselves

there are easily many many deists who are far more intelligent that most of Thunderf00t's cultish followers.

  • @100CommonCents

Well the way you talk you may as well be a religious nut. It's not a 'cult' to agree with someone. People who trot out this crap are usually idiots - I'll take it as read that you're an idiot. In fact you're probably in the 'cult of idiots'.

I don't know about 'proud to be a atheist.' I should say I'm glad and relieved I no longer believe the shit I used too. Not proud, fucking delighted I've been freed from the guilt and control my religion had over me.

  • @mousegeek Oops! 'an atheists'

  • @mousegeek i'm not religious and never have been. i even remember arguing with my kindygarten teacher who was trying to convince me that jesus was real.

i'm referring to the people who go out of their way to bash religious people because they're religious. if you support this, then you're a peice of shit. but more probably, you've taken offence to something that didn't necessarily apply to you. i'm not saying all atheists.

and yes there are many cultish followers of thunderf00t.

  • @100CommonCents

I don't know of any atheists that bash ALL religious people. I have nothing against atheists bashing the ludicrous (and some times dangerous) beliefs of religious people. It's funny many of the people outraged by what they see as unfairness to moderate Muslims didn't stand up for JezuzFreek777 when ItsTheSuperFly did a shitty thing to him (in fact most of those people supported the shitty act). These people have shown they're hypocrites and all they do is spout shit.

  • @mousegeek well i come across these atheists frequently. no idea who those two people are btw.

  • @mousegeek

Hang on. Are you comparing a YouTube user to 1.5 billion people? Who by the way got singled out specifically because of his moronic viewpoints? How is this even remotely similar? One person spewing nonsense and people calling out this user on his shit. Your analogy doesn't even work, because the people who see unfairness to moderate Muslims don't also lump them together with their violent counterparts. Unlike TF, who does it constantly. He should be calling out the violent ones.

  • @Pitchguest

    I've given up answering you!

  • @mousegeek

Yes, that would be the best way of deflecting to answer. Giving up. I guess that means I win?

  • Comment removed

  • *woops responded to you when refering to someone else*

  • @100CommonCents I have been religious. I was in a cult (b4 the TF one :) The Jehovah's Witnesses' beliefs can be dangerous. Children are encourage to refuse blood transfusions (to have one is to disobey God!) They are also discouraged from attending college (no point as they've living in the End Times). There have also been cases where sexual abuse goes unreported (according to the Bible there must be two witnesses to the act - how likely is it the abuse will be done in front of people!)

  • @mousegeek ok, that is an example that affects someone else and atheists that go out of there way to debate these people have 100% of my support.

i am speaking of people who when faced with the realisation that they are talking to someone who is religious and no hurting anyone, begin to talk down to them. they might say 'belief in god is naive and ignorant fool' or 'ok, i'm done, you're a religious idiot'.

i know the type of atheists i talk about do exist. you're describing others.

  • @100CommonCents

The Internet makes it a bit too easy to confront religious people. If I see JWs in the town I'm always friendly. if I know them well I don't challenge anything they say - even if I know it's complete twaddle. On the Internet we don't, I know I don't, show the same kind of consideration for people's beliefs. When I meet my friend's mother & she says to me, 'We know Jehovah is going to put an end to this wicked system' I don't say, 'Don't talk daft' I just say 'Mmmn' & smile.

  • @mousegeek ha, ok yeah i understand what you mean.

  • I love your show. I really think Thunderf00t has great points, but has under-estimated/is under-stating the destruction brought on by religions other than Islam; Of course we have atheists in foxholes, but many people who work as governed or contracted military forces to defend corporate and US interest around the world are christian. I imagine some are not. Right now, we can "pretend" this isn't a set of religious and political divisive activities, but really, this is missing in your dialog.

  • I can see Coughlan trolls have been here. Will you and your trolls Coughlan, just give it a rest already.

  • Wow.....158 Coughlan votebots clicking the thumbs down button. Really??

  • @ddoyle11 No, 158 free thinkers, who can disagree with whoever they like, did.

  • I love both these Youtubers!! To have them talk together is awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @TheCurmudgen ...among other reasons.

  • @gskowal It can be overblown by saying--or implying--that ALL MUSLIMS advocate such behavior, and would engage in it themselves given the chance simply by virtue of being allied to Islam. THAT'S how.

It'd be like saying that ALL Christians are the same as the Westboro Baptist Church. It's an over generalization, it's reasoning from one to infinity.

Have a sense of proportion, would ya?

  • @BionicDance how about giving us the proportions?

name us the islamic sect , that under their theocracy they wouldn't have you, a lesbian woman, killed?

why you still conflating muslims with islam?

it is really no different than identifying Italians between 1920-44 with fascism.

the first are people, the second an ideology.

  • @AmetReloads You guys know there's this thing called "private messaging"?

  • @AmetReloads Unless you can paint EVERY muslim with the same brush--which you CAN'T--then you're guilty of lazy stereotyping.

  • @BionicDance lets put it this way so you can understand it better.

in the hypothetical scenario where you were brought up in gaza, there would have being many, possibly thousands of palestinian that would help you to take refuge to israel(where Palestinian gays end up once uncovered).

thats separated from the fact that the islamic authorities of hamas would have prosecute you,and in their fashion, arranged a street execution.

that unfortunately is the reality of homosexuals under islamic regimes.

  • @AmetReloads And, to you, Gaza is...what...the ONLY place in the world where there are muslims? There's, like, NONE in the United States? They're not significantly more moderate than that? Really? *raised eyebrow*

This is the problem: whether you mean to or not, people like and and Tf00t are acting like the worst of muslims are the ONLY representatives of islam...and it ain't true. I may not agree with islam, but I disagree with this kind of sloppy thinking even more.

  • @BionicDance '[Muslims are] not significantly more moderate than that?

You're right. But part of reason is the culture of the US. Islam is particularly pernicious when operating in a theocracy. In a theocracy women are treated like property, homosexuals are murdered, atheism & leaving Islam could mean death (if the state doesn't get u, ur neighbours might). Are Muslims 'allowed' to be moderate - they don't have to conform to Koranic law - because they're not living in a theocracy?

  • @mousegeek

@BionicDance The culture Muslims are living in (or were born into) plays a big part in how Muslims behave (that's obvious). I saw a debate on UK TV where a British Muslim said Islam can be seen at its worst in a theocracy. I thought, 'well if the laws in the Koran are so barbaric why would anyone promote this religion as the only best way to live a life?' Muslims become moderate by ignoring parts of the Koran (just as Christians become moderate by ignoring the Bible).

  • @BionicDance Speaking of sloppy thinking, no one has said "all Muslims are like...". TF and others have cited specific incidence and have not generalized. This broad-brush mischaracterization is your own invention.

  • @shirehorse9

Bullshit. He does not single out the extremists in his videos about Islam and Muslims. In his WDPLAC series, he singles out creationism - and debunks it with science and facts. In his Islam videos, he shows pictures of Muslims being violent, burning stuff, killing. Without citing which one of the fringe this is. Painting it with a broad brush and calling it Muslims and Islam. He does not debunk anything, he does not ask questions. Merely plants the seed of fear.

  • @Pitchguest Troll!

  • @shirehorse9

Listen. If you're gonna be like this, then there's no point in me having a conversation with you. You're the one going on to different videos (where I'm on, by the way, so you're obviously stalking me or something) and calling me a troll. It doesn't work like that. You can't just call someone a troll for no reason. It's stupid. If you knew the history (lol!) of the word troll, you would know it doesn't work like that. Of course, again, your incomptence surfaces. Extraordinarily so.
