My brother told me to turn this song off because he said it sounded sort of depressing... this song replicates my feelings when I am heartbroken... this also reminds me of a documentary I once watched on walruses and penguins. It's so sad. The baby walrus' aunt gets eaten by a killer whale and the walrus is left as an orphan. The penguins die a slow death out of starvation. Then in the end of the documentary, the snow melts away and it lists the aproximate death tolls of all the animals...

to me, this song is about respecting the inner life of another being. Instead of diving into the ocean or penetrating a person during sex as though they were a passive object, she shows how the ocean (I think its a metaphor for the person) reacts to her forceful entrance. Kind of about ecology and feminism, you could say.
