no, course not. well, going back a bit on that comment, the really grotty and run down ones i hate. as long as they're a bit of alrite and families aren't put in those places and they used for singles or couples or immigrants i guess it's ok. but let's not have them too high otherwise it looks shit

thecultojonnybeighed- yes I agree the old ones can look downtrodden and depressing and they would probably look out of place in an ancient city like Edinburgh. However I have seen proposals and projects in cities across the UK that are much more attractive looking. For me 'high rise' is a fundamental part of the urban landscape. It does vary greatly though.

i see what u mean there, mate. the proposals and projects that are much more attractive looking sound quite cool. i just hate the run down tower blocks that have unfortunately housed families and the wrong types of people in the past when they shouldn't have
