This song is incredible, I think 'Ragnaradi Eve' is a tiny bit better though, just for those bells. The high pitched vocals here at 3:56 send shivers down my spine.

Probably the very best doom album there is.

Wow mate thanx for posting!!! This is actually my favourite scald song. THe vokil and guitar work just sound magnificent!! Why dont you post more Scald songs?

it's my favourite too...

i didn t post any other scald songs, mainly due to laziness, but also because i don't like to put up stuff that is already on youtube.

On the other hand, i think that i ll arrange some doom albums in playlists so they could be experienced as whole albums instead of separate songs.

so don t worry, then, more scald coming up in the days to come. I ll keep you posted!

On September 6th, back in 1997 in Yaroslavl, Russia a tragic event happened to the viking doom metal called SCALD the singer and leader of the band Agyl (Maxim Andrianov) died. The other members of the group (Harald guitar, Karry guitar, Velingor bass and Ottar drums) decided that SCALD could no longer exist without the departed frontman and unique singer. They came to a decision to form a new band TUMULUS
