So it takes 100,000 troops to defeat 50 to 100 terrorists? No. That's because the 100,000 troops presently in Afghanistan aren't there to fight the group that killed 3000 people on 9/11. The troops are there to fight the Taliban, even though they never attacked the United States. They currently cover half of the country.
