  • why does this only have 3068 views?

  • @Gunmetallic91 Good music like this scarecely gets a fraction of the traffic a guy and his ukulele at his desk get. I submit that most people associate classical music with punishment, and they resent what serves as a reminder of their percieved shortcomings.

  • Gotta be one of the angriest piano pieces in history.

  • @Zwingli10 It seems like that right? Well actually Rachmaninov was just graduating from the Conservatory when he wrote this, and he received the Gold Medal for Piano in the same year. So I imagine he was pretty happy :D

  • The fastest playing I've heard, but definitely the best. He clearly wanted the dramaticism to show through tempo as well as dynamics and personally I think it adds a great effect to it.

  • way too fast!!!!

  • @kevingarbage I agree, I like Gilels' playing more. Blasphemous as it is.

  • @kevingarbage This should be as fast as it should be, seeing as it is Rachmaninov himself playing.

On a lighter note, wonderful sound quality for a Rach performance.

  • In my opinion is too fast this couldn't be Rachmaninoff because it have tempos faster than others 0:01 and 0:54 can be an xample

  • I wish I could marry this song. It's too amazing.

  • @lalalydia03 please....please.....it is not a SONG -.-

  • @SertavisSaviPianist Even using the wrong terminology, I think you got my meaning. Sorry I am just an uneducated lover of music. I love this piece.
