Pretty normal to have three lanes on the highway all going the same speed here in the states. I don't understand why it's so hard for majority of the people to move over when there's someone going faster than you. If people would move over and pay attention while driving an autobahn might work here.

A2 between Braunschweig and Königslutter :) thats where i drive almost every day to my University in Wolfsburg.

To the americans. I lived in the LA area for 5 month and you simply cannot compare it to driving on the Autobahn. It is law in Germany to stay as far on the right as you can, you must not overtake other cars on their right hand side and there is no speed limit in some areas unlike on freeways.

In America (California specifically) and you're driving down the freeway. Whoever passes you is automatically an asshole just because they are going faster than you. In Germany people are more than happy to move out of the way for fear of being hit by someone going much faster, but in America people will slam on the brakes and cut in front of you just to make you slow down. Pure stupidity I say.
