  • Is that the drummer clappin' alone in the grass? lol

  • There is hope after all.

  • Excellent song!

The guy in the second left looks a lot like David Gilmour!

  • @Gold753 His name is Chris Gunst ;+)

  • does anyone know what chords they are using here besides A and D?

  • Hopefully this formats okay.

    The verse is A D A E A E F#m E.

    The chorus is A F#m D A (sequence played 4 times).

    "Do do doo" - E D A

"Sha la la la" - F#m A, then the solo is played over the verse chords.

Then the key changes... The chorus becomes C Am F C and the next part is C G and F.

They play the "Sha la la la" section again and they're done.

One thing to note about this version: it's played half a step down from the album, so detune your guitar if you want to play along with this video.

  • Thanks a lot mate!

You don't have the chords to any other Beachwood Sparks songs, do you?

  • This performance & footage deserves a sixth star.

  • whooaaaaa, they remind of the beatles so much

  • more like the beatles crossed with the dead. have you heard anything by mighty baby? great band.

  • i have now :)

im from the country is my favorite so far.

  • Reforming for the sub pop anniversary show this summer. pity it's a one-off and in washington (difficult from ireland when i can barely get a day off!). hopefully, a european tour is on the agenda after as these guys were/are amazing

  • Great song!

  • so awesome, hello further! what year is this from?

  • It started at my toes and worked it's way up into my soul - All is well with the world.

  • oh my goodness, i love these guys! they are so fantastic. their sound is so pure and simple and incredible.

  • this rules

  • Beachwood Sparks - best short-lived band of all time? Together, they could do no wrong, but apart, the Tyde and All-Night Radio just don't measure up. Once We Were Trees - best album of the 2000s!!! Get back together, guys! Thanks for posting this and bringing me back...

  • Dude I bought "Once We Were Trees" a few years back and just had my mind blown! I couldn't believe what I was hearing. Being a huge collector of '60s rock bands like Buffalo Springfield, etc., Beachwood Sparks knocked me out!

  • the unbelievable amount of mellow they are exuding is making me quite heady

  • whoa..this is so great, thanks for this!!

  • Definitely great to see footage of these guys. Especially live in the backyard!

  • Wow...this is great...i never get to see footage these guys
