They said that dandridge was a psychotic murderer that killed his girlfriend(though she is very much alive at the end of the first movie) and tried to kill him and peter , so he probably pleaded provocation and self defence and mental unstability.

havent seen this film since i was a kid,me and my dad watched them both 1 night when i was getting into horror......after watching vast amounts of hammer and the universal series these 80's movies were like gold-dust with all the effects gore and what not,the anamatronics and make up are so much more effective than sodding cgi,theres things to react to,ok ive had my moment lol

Weird conclusion. I just don't like people objectifying and labelling, trying to compartmentalise and define people, when we are all just who we are and don't need that. Making a statement about taking psychology and then asking about a particular subject suggests one wishes to use what one has learned in order to analyse the subject that's been asked about.
