Heres my trick. When a missle comes do a big manuver to the gournd and fly around near ground. missle will crash. Works 70% of the time. (or you could just use smoke!)

The trick is to make them hit something else. For most rockets fired at you, you can just dodge and they'll eventually stop, but if someone fires a hellfire from another chopper or something, that thing WILL hit you, unless you can make it explode before that happens.

As for avoiding the M136 AT4, try flying around like a maniac. Don't fly straight because that just makes you predictable and an easy target. Make turns and curves rapidly and suddenly. This way the player firing at you must make very sharp turns with the rocket. I'm okay at using the AT4 but I need way more improvements.

There are several ways to counter rockets. One is to use the smoke specialization perk which gets rid of the tracer, but if you're locked on and the missile is after you, the specialization is useless. Another way would be to utilize cover or the ground itself. If a helicopter hovers behind a huge structure at a certain distance, the rockets won't be able to reach you. The final way would be to use the circle strafing method. This method only works if you're trying to avoid a lock on.

Or a quicker and easier way to neutralize them, is slap on the Smoke perk, to get rid of the dart and throw off missiles. So you can keep firing rather than 'pray-n-flail'.
