В этой записи Фантазии технические огрехи настолько очевидны, что впору издавать еще одну ее редакцию, доуснащенную новыми лигами, штрихами и, наконец, гармониями... Да и по-музыке звучит как-то неубедительно...

OK, you forced me to trancribe the comment I posted on Brahms Intermezzo rendition by Neuhaus. -------------- Lets listen to the professor. A very humorous person. Heinrich Neuhaus was the teacher of: Emil Gilels Sviatoslav Richter Radu Lupu the mother (first teacher) of Andrei Gavrilov. He is the grandfather of Bunin. Excellent interpretation, professor! -------------------- Or, if you prefer, Maestro! :-)

Molto bella, soprattutto dalla metà in poi. Tuttavia preferisco quella per eccellenza, di Sofronitsky(che aveva davvero capito tutto di questo pezzo).

Richter non mi è piaciuto, mi aspettavo qualcosa di più personale, invece è praticamente uguale a quella di Sofronisky ma con un "errore " interpretativo alla seconda grandiosa ripresa del tema.

Many thanks truecrypt for posting this, I can proudly say my mother was studying with him and Stanislav Neuhaus at Tchaikowsky Conservatoire in Moscow in the 60`s. Greatest music experience one could have with such legend.

hai mai ascoltato la versione di Lazar Berman? non faccio paragoni- sarebbero assurdi- ma la sua lettura mi convince forse più di questa di Neuhaus...il Suono di Berman, così turgido ed opulento...quanto a Sofronitsky...non posso metterlo sullo stesso piano di nessun altro pianista...è semplicemente unico- oltr ad essere uno dei miei preferiti in assoluto-

io l'ho sentita ..hai raione e' molto bella fino ad ora avevo sentito solo la sua e quella di richter,allievoo di neuhaus fra l'altro,quella di richter nn mi e' piaciuta tanto...comunque questa di e.n. e' molto bella...anche a me piace molto berman ,negli studi trascendentali di liszt e' sconvolgentemente bravo...in questi giorni ho sentito il figlio,violinista ,volevo fargli delle domande sul padre ma purtroppo nn ci sono riuscito :-(

Mh, quella di Richter, innanzitutto, quale? Di che anno è la registrazione? Sai che Richter ha avuto i "periodi2 che manco Picasso...;) I Trascendentali di berman li ho presi prorio di recente!!! Assuuuuuurdiii!!! è stato davvero un pianista "sottovalutato" o almeno non ha avuto la carriera che avrebbe meritato...mh!

Ahhh! Sentito Zhukov! è una bellissima versione, molto "tesa"...ma, a mio avviso, la visionarietà di Sofronitsky e la sensualità turgida di berman rimangono inarrivabili! ;) Che ne pensi?

Thanks again, Truecrypt, it seems that your collection of historical recordings from the Soviet era is inexhaustible...is there a video of Neuhaus' playing? I remember a very short fragment of some other Scriabin piece.
