  • Pumpkin? Check.

    Carving Tools? Check.

    Design? Check.

    Beer? Of course.

  • cool

  • THIS IS NOT 101! if it was u would have shown us what tools u used, or any kid of technic, something! THANK S 4 THE INFO . should of been called still shots of me carving my pumkin.

    "

  • @TheBrandybray So sorry. How can I make it up to you?

  • @RedneckResponder man this music is very annoying whit 3d surround headphones!

  • so big:D

  • did you smash it up because it was messed UP

  • how do you peel the skin but not all the way through the pumpkin??

  • @lettuce2017 Just a regular vegetable or potato peeler. I carved it with a knife called a hawk bill that is used for flooring.

  • @RedneckResponder Ahh Better Idea A TOMAHAWK!

  • i think you did a good job on it love to see it lit up at night to see what it looks like

  • This was a fucking pitiful excuse for a 'how to' video. You should send this to expert village.

  • @DIZZLEyrf I didn't need a video to teach me how to do this, I just did it. The mush in your head is a pitiful excuse for a brain. A real artist could figure it out.

  • @RedneckResponder that's fantastic, but this is still a fucking pitiful excuse for a 'how to' video. And your pumpkin carving was mediocre at best. I just carved my first pumpkin, and it looked better than this one.

  • @DIZZLEyrf I'm sure you got it on video right? Where's the video, I didn't see it on your channel. until you post the proof no one is going to believe you.

  • @RedneckResponder fair enough...you're still a dick, though. Which is why I bothered to comment in the first place.

  • @RedneckResponder The title says 'How to carve a giant pumpkin', implying it is a how to video, you fucking idiot.

  • @TurboCarlos1 If you can't figure it out from the video then maybe you should stick to pumpkins in coloring books. I tell you what since this is a video site why don't you post a how to video and leave it as a response?

I'll tell you why, because you're to scared to upload a video. You have no talent, personality or balls to do anything interesting. I did this on my own without a how to video and you can't figure it out from this video? You're pathetic.

  • WTF PUMPKINKN

  • Wait a minute, I learned something, so it is a how-to video! Nice carving job! Some people need you to hold their hands in order to get anything out of a video regardless of what is going on. I am going to try your way of doing the transfer to the pumpkin. It looks much easier than free hand. I look forward to seeing this years. Cheers and thanks for the video.

  • This isn't really a "how-to"... Why would you name it that?

  • @DamienDoe Because it's my video and I can call it whatever I want to. You have a video called Pave Fastrope but the rope isn't moving at all it is just hanging there. Why wouldn't you call it Pave Hanging rope?

  • A 3-second search on wikipedia returned the following: "Fast-roping... is a technique for descending a thick rope. It is useful for deploying troops from a helicopter in places where the helicopter itself is unable or unwilling to touch down."

Another 2-second search: "A how-to... is an informal, often short, description of how to accomplish some specific task."

My video depicts a helicopter conducting fastrope training, and is named thusly. Yours depicts nothing instructive, but is a how-to?

  • @DamienDoe Have you ever bought a piece of furniture you had to put together and the instructions only had pictures and no words? If you can't figure out how to carve a pumpkin then you need more than my video.

    Disclaimer:

Attention, this video may be confusing to people who attended "special" education classes in school. Or those who use Wikipedia as a goto source of information.

  • @RedneckResponder Nah man, I can carve a pumpkin... If I couldn't, I'd probably try and find a video where the pumpkin lasted more than a few hours.

  • @DamienDoe I picked this pumpkin 4 weeks before I carved it. It was at the state fair for 2 weeks and I craved it the night I got it back, it had started to get some soft spots. A fresh one would last a lot longer then a regular carved one because I don't cut the top off and scoop out the guts. After peeling you can dunk these in vinegar and water and they won't even turn brown.

  • Man your replies are funny as hell. Great video and thank for making me laugh.

  • How thik was the skin of that?

  • @demonic41700 Between 2 and 3 inches. The 1,500 lb ones can be 10 inches thick.

  • why would you smash it!

  • I didnt even see the pop up, must have been when i fast forwarded it because its so damn long!!!!!!

  • @1Sunshowers7Girl 1 minute and 26 seconds is a long time for some people to pay attention

  • Might wanna rename this video to show "This is my pumpkin" this is not a How to 101 Carving.

  • @Saitekman You may want to rename yourself "cum dumpster"

  • @RedneckResponder ur a cum dumpster

    u asswipe

  • @RedneckResponder He is right though- this is by no means a tutorial

  • you could also use a paring knife, it has a curved blade, it's what i used anyway, but nice job, i'd have loved to see it lit

  • cool.

  • Wtf why don't you show it lit up?

  • what song is this?

  • @malkmusinthemiddle it's probablly tim twiss

  • very cool video i craved a 140pound pumpkin that my gf bought me. I was wondering what tools do you use for craving? because i had a very difficult with a spoon and kitchen knife :P

  • Just a potato peeler and a carpet knife called a Hawkbill, it has a curved cutting edge, so it was easy to get the curved parts.

  • wow... in the first pics it doesn't look that big but when I saw the pics with other people with the pumpkin I was like "wooow"

    well done 5*s!!!

  • Thank you very much!

  • that was awsome!!

  • (( (()) (()) ][_ stuff

  • Thanks :)

  • could you make one for me PLEASE!!!!!!!!

  • oh cool lol

  • plz right back how long it take u?

  • About 4 or 5 hours, but it was my first time and I drank alot of beer. If I did another it would go faster. I only used two tools, a potato peeler and a carpet knife called a "hawkbill"

  • very nice job! but we never got to see it lit

  • I got the idea from from a website some guy put up years ago, he called them grumpkins.

his are awesome 900 lb'ers and are very detailed he did one of a 911 tribute it makes mine look very sad. I grew this one from a seed from a 1,000 lb pumpkin. Got fouth place for biggest pumpkin at the state fair, 114lbs.
