THIS IS NOT 101! if it was u would have shown us what tools u used, or any kid of technic, something! THANK S 4 THE INFO . should of been called still shots of me carving my pumkin.
@DIZZLEyrf I didn't need a video to teach me how to do this, I just did it. The mush in your head is a pitiful excuse for a brain. A real artist could figure it out.
@RedneckResponder that's fantastic, but this is still a fucking pitiful excuse for a 'how to' video. And your pumpkin carving was mediocre at best. I just carved my first pumpkin, and it looked better than this one.
@DIZZLEyrf I'm sure you got it on video right? Where's the video, I didn't see it on your channel. until you post the proof no one is going to believe you.
@TurboCarlos1 If you can't figure it out from the video then maybe you should stick to pumpkins in coloring books. I tell you what since this is a video site why don't you post a how to video and leave it as a response?
I'll tell you why, because you're to scared to upload a video. You have no talent, personality or balls to do anything interesting. I did this on my own without a how to video and you can't figure it out from this video? You're pathetic.
Wait a minute, I learned something, so it is a how-to video! Nice carving job! Some people need you to hold their hands in order to get anything out of a video regardless of what is going on. I am going to try your way of doing the transfer to the pumpkin. It looks much easier than free hand. I look forward to seeing this years. Cheers and thanks for the video.
@DamienDoe Because it's my video and I can call it whatever I want to. You have a video called Pave Fastrope but the rope isn't moving at all it is just hanging there. Why wouldn't you call it Pave Hanging rope?
A 3-second search on wikipedia returned the following: "Fast-roping... is a technique for descending a thick rope. It is useful for deploying troops from a helicopter in places where the helicopter itself is unable or unwilling to touch down."
Another 2-second search: "A how-to... is an informal, often short, description of how to accomplish some specific task."
My video depicts a helicopter conducting fastrope training, and is named thusly. Yours depicts nothing instructive, but is a how-to?
@DamienDoe Have you ever bought a piece of furniture you had to put together and the instructions only had pictures and no words? If you can't figure out how to carve a pumpkin then you need more than my video.

@DamienDoe I picked this pumpkin 4 weeks before I carved it. It was at the state fair for 2 weeks and I craved it the night I got it back, it had started to get some soft spots. A fresh one would last a lot longer then a regular carved one because I don't cut the top off and scoop out the guts. After peeling you can dunk these in vinegar and water and they won't even turn brown.
very cool video i craved a 140pound pumpkin that my gf bought me. I was wondering what tools do you use for craving? because i had a very difficult with a spoon and kitchen knife :P
About 4 or 5 hours, but it was my first time and I drank alot of beer. If I did another it would go faster. I only used two tools, a potato peeler and a carpet knife called a "hawkbill"
I have a big tulip poplar about 70 foot tall that has died I thought about cuttin it to 30 foot or so and carvin it up, thanx for the inspiration to maybe try it.
holy crap man did you do this? thats pretty damn good. alot better then i'd accomplish my first try. I actually just throw my pumpkins in the back yard. if you leave the seeds and such inside they'll grow back new the next year.
I got the idea from from a website some guy put up years ago, he called them grumpkins.
his are awesome 900 lb'ers and are very detailed he did one of a 911 tribute it makes mine look very sad. I grew this one from a seed from a 1,000 lb pumpkin. Got fouth place for biggest pumpkin at the state fair, 114lbs.
Pumpkin? Check.
Carving Tools? Check.
Design? Check.
Beer? Of course.

@RedneckResponder Nah man, I can carve a pumpkin... If I couldn't, I'd probably try and find a video where the pumpkin lasted more than a few hours.

Just a potato peeler and a carpet knife called a Hawkbill, it has a curved cutting edge, so it was easy to get the curved parts.
