  • this is probably my favorite claymation video of yours so far hahahaha. It made me laugh

  • hey dude, what clay do you use?

  • <3 the noises. can you tell me what they're called?

  • So I'm assuming you go to SCAD, how is it as a university? I want to go there for film, and maybe animation or something like that, and it seems like a great school! How is it also, in terms of the area? thanks!

  • @BubbleCloudFilms It's a good school. It's really pricey, but no matter what, I'd say apply and show the best work you have as they give out decent scholarships to those with good grades and good artwork. The Savannah area is cool, and the Atlanta area is as well. It depends on if you want to live in a big city, or a more spread out location like Savannah. Savannah was the right choice for me, and definitely study abroad at some point if you can, Lacoste is amazing.

  • @Mackmation What kind of artwork and/or film work are they looking for? I always used to make comedy stuff, but I'm starting to look into other genres and such as far as film and animation go, and I'm not sure what their take is on it. Thanks again!

  • Hey. I would say the best choice for you is a cheap MiniDV camcorder. You can find them around $150.00 online. You will also need a Firewire cable, either '4pin to 6pin' or '4pin to 4pin', depending on if you have a desktop or a laptop. Monkeyjam is the best free program I've used, that works well with miniDV camcorders. Good luck!

  • Thanks, ahaha, this conveniently helped me too!

    Thanks!

    Keep be awesome! :]

  • @Mackmation I'm also 12 I would love to know what computer software to use for stopmotion. (I have a mac)

  • dude ur so good and so unappreciated on youtube for it. nice job

  • Really simple and fun which gave it charm. Working with a harsh time limit is always pretty stressful but also makes you work in ways you wouldn't normally.

Congrats on the win as well!

  • Thanks Max. Yeah the time limit helped in just going with quick ideas that worked. Haha, just 2 tiny sketches as storyboards, and I was off to building the clay set and animating.
