I'm gonna take a guess and say.. when you and your friend were hunting, the Bulldrome flipped over because of your friends' Hunting Horn and since it gets a bit of distance it was enough to get up the ledge.

The closest thing I've done to this is killing a charging Tigrex with a kick.

I had a sliver of health and just decided to kick it, and it worked. I was relieved and amused.

Something like that was happen to me last week with a rathalos. He charged on the wall in the 2nd zone of forest & hills, and he walk through the wall and appear on the platform above me and never try to get off! The los can fly, but this one never did it... ^^

I had something similar happen to a Kirin. It got stuck in that area where you climb up to the top of the cliff. It tried desperately to egress but couldn't because it couldn't run through walls.

Naturally I just pounded on it until it died. Easiest kill ever.

he should charge at you, but be blocked by the ledge. just before he hits the ledge, run into area 5. wait for a few seconds, then re-enter. he should be ontop of the ledge.

this is how me and managed to make it happen. have fun!

i know how to make that glitch happen if anyone is interested, me and friend worked it out.

Head to area 6 as quickly as possible via area 5. try to beat the bulldrome there, and stay at the entrance where you appear. the bulldrome should enter from area 7, and walk forward a bit from the entrance, then stop to turn around. let him see you now, while staying close to the entrance to 5 and with the ledge sorta inbetween you and the bulldrome. {continued in next post}

i got forced underneath the level wen fighting a purple gypercos area 4 jungle elder quest with dullest sword. fire wyvern blade (fall) i did a traingle attack sumwat near the ocean and the dull blade and his attack must have forced me into the ocean sum how. i walked off the ocean and fell underneath the level. I can only walk were there is ocean above me. i have screen shots but i didnt hack to get under.

I've had this happen with kushala daora recently in the download quest, sadly, he doesn't ever try to run away, and he got stuck in a tiny area i had to go through in order to rezone, so i ended up having to run screaming past him and his insanely powerful wind blasts.
