Thank you so much for doing this. I'm a long time fan of OSF and a fully realized male-to-female transsexual. Although it certainly doesn't necessarily get easy, and progress is painfully slow, it most certainly does get better.

People who think they can change that, are living in a bubble while the rest of us live in reality. Telling these people "it gets better" is a generalization and is completely false. It does get better, it gets a lot better. I was bullied a lot in elementary school to the point where I nearly jumped out of my 2nd story window onto the pavement. Several times. But then I entered middle school, met my best friend(now loving girlfriend) and I just got better. I've made lots of friends since then. Go to the friends you love and trust, and know that you have their support, that is what really, truly helps.
