They share the same engine characteristics aside from the fact that the GTR Skyline's are AWD. In terms of power & withstanding the power, the Supra is superior to the Skyline. The V160 & V161 are strong trannys because of how they are made. Boost isn't really shared with the transmission.

Those Supras don't mess around I mean you can call them rice or whatever but those 2JZs are devastating engines, they have so much potential and their brutality. Mu Stage 1 E55 is fast but it's refined and comfortable, a friend gave me a ride in his 800hp Supra and it was just overwhelming, the sheer VIOLENCE of the thing.
