  • You just mad it ugly

  • you should take the other strap that u dont want and put it across your chest part because it looks kind of weird as a v if ur gonna do one strap

  • Do it strapless it looks werid with just one strap

  • cut both of the straps off and make it a strapless dress

  • if you wanted straples you need boning and i would put it under not over the other strap and dont alter it yourself

  • I think you will look beautiful any way you decided to wear it!! Love your style ideas too, very creative!!!

  • It looks like one side is saggy on the upper torso and it looks like one side is too high

  • @Runningrebels32 It's because she as taken the strap off the shoulder and pinned it to the position she as

  • It is a lovely dress the way it is designed. I would not recommend altering it. But instead wear it in the manner it is already designed. I think you will look amazing and be much more comfortable. Beautiful Gown. Hope you had a wonderful evening !

  • If you want, you can do this in the future, you're just missing one item to ensure that it isn't droopy.

What you need is a foundation garment. In this case, a corset/bustier. It needs to be the type with boning (preferably strong, yet comfortable), bra cups built in, in a low back style, to accomodate the cut outs on your dress.

You sew the inside of the dress and corset together, around the cup, and along the side seam of the dress.

Et voila, a gorgeous dress, sans the droopage!

  • i love this dress , can u say me the brand ?

  • i like both straps

  • I just want to remove it

  • Your prom is over, but I hope you didn't alter it like that, the dress is made to be a two strap... If you wanted a one strap you should have asked for one strap..

  • If u wanted a side strap dress u should have bought one. That dress is made to look a certain way and you cant change it.

  • Hey ! you look gorgeous; you just hold the strip less side how do you did with finger & other side pull little bit make sure your cleave edge in center sew it in strip side maybe it will work

  • Ohh I like it at 1:28

  • Ah you look gorgeous

  • Wow! So pretty :)

  • i love you dress and your skin tone it gorgeous!<3 your soo prettyy!!<3 x

  • I know this comment is way late but you shouldn't alter your dress because it was made to look semicircle and when you alter it like that, it will look lopsided and weird.

  • where did you get your dress? :)

  • @HIKIM411 obviously at the store jk

  • Nahhhh just leave it like that if it was a halter type top you could probably pull it off but the front doesn't look good like that. Just leave it in the closet as a distant memory of prom lol

  • We don't have Prom in France :(

  • I think you should leave it how it's suppose to be. it looks pretty but It looks...like it's not suppose to be that way

  • wered you get your prom dress from?

  • It's a reealllly pretty dress , but then again how you just said it sounds so difficult to alter &&' put on the dress. How bout you just cross over the strap that was undone towards the other strap [: &&' it would still look fabulous ! <3

  • The dress it pretty, I think you should leave it the way it is.

  • I like the idea

You could add an invisible zipper to the strapless side and add a hook and eye for extra security; but if you're uncertain of how to do that then I dunno you could always just pull the dress on over your head.

  • i think you should bring the strap across to your other shoulder instead

  • I would leave it, if you changed it then the front would look kinda like its missing a strap, even though the back would look really good :)

  • i don't think you should change it . it looks very complicated the way you are changing it .

  • i dont think it looks rite.... budd pretty

  • Noo, the front wouldn't look right. It would look like it's missing a strap.

  • it looks very complicated and difficult O.o

  • Try crossing it in the front or putting the clamp/closure on the inside of the boob area where you were going to secure the altered strap so that you can still get the dress on, but the altered strap will still be hidden in the front.
