Very cool. Thank you. Brings back a lot of memories. I received my first AF Achievement Medal for building the internal steel structure that holds up the F-100 in 1986. It was the first aircraft in the display. I was a Metal Fabrication Specialist in the 354th Civil Engineering Squadron. I have a nice photo of us setting it on the pier with a crane.
I began visiting the Myrtle Beach area in the early/mid 80's. I can remember when the Air Force base was there and you used to see the A-10's and other aircraft flying over the Atlantic Ocean and inland over the Strand.Myrtle Beach will always hold a special place in the Hearts of Me and My Family. Thank You sharing these videos with us. It will help us get thru the Winter a little quicker , until we go back next Summer. Thanks again!
Was another Brain Fart ( oooops, no brain ) of you dumb ass bush/ clinton presidential supporters back then.. to close this base.. I hope the town suffers JMO.. I was stationed there in early 90's.. Leave it to a dumb cum sucker to have done that..Whoever was responsible for that.. I hope ur nuts and pussy ..or whatever you pack gets infested with the fleas of a thousand camels.. Have a Nice DAY

A very nice surprise. I was stationed there as the EMO from '70-'72. Many fond memories. I could cry when I see it now.

Very nice website. I was stationed here in 1975 as a A7 crew chief. Glad to see that it hasn't been forgotten.
