women need to educate themselves on how inducing labor spirals into many other interventions that are not good for mother or baby. being induced for convenience is just nonsensical! the c-section rates are so high in this country, and we have one of the worst infant and maternal mortality rates in the world. let nature take its course- that is what's best for the baby.

haha I freaked w/ the swelling too. Glad I wasn't the only one. It came and went often enough. Good weight for the baby :) Inductions almost always lead to a c-section so if ur okay w/ that outcome then go for it.

Hmmmm, that's scary. I need to do some more research before I commit, I guess. I keep thinking it'll make things (in terms of travel arrangements, etc.) easier for the rest of the family. I guess, I better focus on the baby's and my health and all the risks involved first and foremost vs. other worries. :-)

You have the exact same worries I had w/ my daughter. Totally normal. But most first time Mom's will labor for hours, long enough for family to travel, and arrangements to be made, and your DR should be able to give a bit of a heads up :) I went into to my 37 week check up and my Dr said YOUR IN LABOR call the folks! She knew our fam/friends were a 4 hr drive from here. I was so skeptical, I called my Mom told her what the DR said but said don't come yet, just a heads up. 2 hours later I called

All family/friends and said get your butts here I'm in labor lol. They were all here HOURS before it was pushing time. So don't fret, things will happen the way they are supposed to. Just make sure your support is there for you, whether that is hubby, your Mom, your best friend or all three! The support team is all you need :)

That is most helpful to know! I didn't really think about the fact that the the dr will most likely give me a heads-up at one of those daily exams (they are daily when you are on your last couple weeks, right?). On a different note, have to say that I greatly enjoy your videos and how fantastic you are with your baby girl, were you always so good with babies? You are a great Mom, I worry it might not come naturally for me, as I've never been around babies.

They are weekly actually, starting at 36 weeks UNLESS you have started dilating/effacing b4 hand, if so then some Dr's will start your weekly visits prior to the 36th week. Mine did at 34 weeks b/c I was 1 cm and like 25% effaced, or something like that. Thank You for the compliment, and it never gets old hearing such kind things like that, only because...... I had the SAME fears that you currently do. Kids have always loved my husband, and sometimes that can intimidate me that I won't be..

As good of a parent as I know he can be. I lied n bed soooooo many nights expressing my fears to my husband, saying how much I feared f2lure, & that I wouldn't b able 2 do it, & I just wouldn't have that motherly instinct & how I just don't feel like a mother, & so 4th, & that he would b the better parent & just know everything. I had nightmares, it was horrible. I think I put that energy n2 knowledge once she was here, & the moment she arrived it was as if a switch had been flipped. :)

You look great. I am thinking about cuting my hair like that but Im scared it won't look good on me,Im sure you had longer hair before how did you get up the courage to cut it. I pray your delivery turns out just the way you want it.

Thank u so much! Would you believe me if I told you my hair was actually down to my knees at one point? I like extremes. I did take an intermediate step though, of cutting it up to my waste, but then I just handed the scissors to my mom back when I was still in college and told her to cut it all off! I had a lot of courage back then. I love it this short,you can play with different colors, styles etc. Congrats on your pregnancy. Hope it's an easy one. And best wishes for an easy delivery!

I'm to afraid to be induced. It's more commen for an induced women to need a c-section then one that went into labor on their own.

You are so lucky. I would kill to be your size! Lol. I was so big at 30 weeks, my back and I wasn't agreeing. My doctor is worried that my spine is going to suffer more because of this pregnancy. But, good luck with either way you choose to have your little boy!

You welcome. And Right now I'm 38 weeks 6 days. My due date is coming up fast and I couldn't be any happier. lol. I am so scared to be induced, but I really want to have my daughter on the 28th, one day before my due date, and so next week I'm going to talk to my doctor about inducing me seeing as I've already started to dilate. But, good luck if you choose to do the induction route!

I'm feeling, tired. I'm always tired, and sleep? I can hardly even get enough for my taste. I can't seem to fall asleep before 3 am. So, I'm dead tired during the day, cause most days I'm up at 8 to baby sit my niece Kaydence. I have videos up if you wanna see how big I am. I'm huge and it's getting so uncomfortable. It's hard to breath, and I'm constantly in that bathroom. I'm so anxious. I can't wait to meet my little girl. The past few days seem to go so slow! Now seems they are going slower!
