Upping the classical influence in the piece was a good move by Ishiwatari! And by that, I mean the emphasis placed on the violins and the other instruments besides the drums and guitar (do I detect a cello in there? Correct me if I'm wrong).

Gives the piece more of a dramatic feel than its original form, which was more of a 'hard-rocking I-mean-[Church-]business' theme. You know what I mean?

I've always been fairly convinced that DragonForce drew their inspiration from early versions of this song.

Quite, quite. I'm happy to say they first caught my attention before GH3 when I heard them and likened them to Guilty Gear. Not that liking them because of GH3 is a bad thing, like.
