  • Yup, still awesome.. how long have I loved this now?

Dude, I sure hope you are keeping up on your playing... have not been able to follow you like the old days...

Sense then i have shared your work when ever possibel, honestly... greatness should never be horded.

    ;D

    Here's to friends.

  • That's incredible, good work!

  • O_O Awesome.

  • By the way, can you make tutorial? :)

  • stunning! i want to learn this and impress people... i think my fingers are gonna get a cramp after the first few notes lol...

  • i have a question, in the sheet music at the end of the coda it repeats, but where does it repeat to and where does it end?

  • At the DC al Coda (end of measure 41), it goes back to the beginning. The TO CODA goes to measure 42. At the end of that system, it returns to the chorus -- measure 22. Repeats in video game music are interesting...

  • Amazing as always, awesome... again astounded by your talent.

i hope you get famous for this so u dont have to do this on youtube for long :)

i have your Kingdom Hearts Medley on my IPod btw :D

  • I can reach 10. =)

Wonderful arrangment, so powerful. I lieks that. *downloading sheets*

  • Yo! You rock!! Thanks for the awesome arrangement!!

    Tommy

  • Hey, thank you! And thanks for an awesome show in San Jose! T'was the highlight of 2008! (I hope at least half of the notes are right...)

  • NICE DUDE u ripped my balls off again w/ your

music !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! btw u posted this on

my b-day yay lol GOOD JOB MAN KEPP IT UP !!

  • I thought Kyle said that he could reach 10 as well?

I think there's going to be a LOT of explaining for my teacher to do... unless of course we get Sibelius installed

  • As always, you NEVER disappoint Sebastian!! :D

I'm blown away as usual! My fingers can pull an octave but i dont i think handle it for as long as you could :P

So World, get some ice bags and your clapping ready because Sebastian Wolff came to play :D (p.s: I wouldve watched this last week but the link was dead apparently on my side :\)

  • Very intense, AWESOMELY done!! ♥

  • youre master

  • Awsome one dude. You played that piano so hard I though it might collapse due to you greatness. 10 stars and 4 thumbs up (if I had four hands but I only have two)

  • HOLY CRAP~! @.@ I'm speechless

so amazing~ it gave me chills x3

  • so awesome how long have u been playing? and what kind of paino is that?

  • beautiful

  • that was insanely sweeeeeeet!!!!

  • =O Damn, your fingers must have hurt like hell after playing that piece!

    That was badass. =)

  • hmm let me see how to describe that

    UTTERLY AMAZING

  • I loved it. Absolutely beautiful. 5 stars and favorited

  • Now this is how a piano should be played ^^

  • You mean smack the keys until the piano bursts into flames?

  • Guess you could put it that way ^^ But I meant playing 1000 keys/sec correct with the right feeling but that's all the same xD

  • Le sweet. You rock. Wonderful job! I've never heard of the song or the game... but I HAVE heard of Orson Scott Card! I like the song.

  • Yeah, he wrote the script for the game. Mm, Ender's Game...

  • good job and a pat on the back

  • omg this is the COOLY-IST

  • You are truly amazing.

  • That was absolutely amazing =|

  • OxO COOOOLLLLL!!!!im speakless. :)

  • OxO WOWZERS. Looked like more-than-octave stretches for the whole piece O.O but that was incredible!

Do you use Finale to compose or do you write it by hand then trasfer it somehow?

  • Yep, my right hand always had a reach of an octave or a 10th. Fun stuff :D

Also, Finale sucks. It's needlessly complicated, inefficient, and utterly outdated. I use Sibelius - I arranged the piece with a half-dead 4-octave keyboard and Adobe Audition. I don't know how many hundred times I've listened to different sections of the piece over and over again.

And you know what? The song is still awesome.

  • OxO 10 keys! That's a giant reach... I can barely reach 8 easily, especially on the second part of Reverie, that kills my hand

Argh our orchestra teacher's making us use Finale... maybe I'll tell her about Sibelius...

  • Eh, Kyle can reach 11, I believe. But anything over an octave can be compromised - C and high Eb can just as easily be a Eb and a high C. With slightly less awesomeness, of course.

Yeah, tell your teacher about Sibelius. It's a lot friendlier for students, teachers, and everyone who doesn't want to read the 8974 page Finale manual. Why do I sound like I'm marketing the product?

  • Finale took me a few days to learn. Either way, both are good.

  • You did a wonderful job, as usual. Andyou really embodied the entire orchestra and vocalists in your playing... Its actually kind of amazing.

    :D

  • Brilliant. O_O 5 stars!

  • Not going to lie. You're the best on youtube.

  • Ah, brilliant.

  • Q# FTW xDD Love your work as always <3

  • this game is awesome, and by awesome, i mean FREAKING INCREDIBLE! and so is the music, so you did a kick ass job playing it... KEEP ON KICKING ASS!

  • some awesome playing. i am in shock at your amazing skill. if only i could ever become that good. you are an inspiring pianist to me and others :)

  • Haha, well, good idea and awesome playing - really good *watches again*

  • To be honest, neither do I. All I know about it is its title - Advent Rising. I don't game myself; I play the music from the games :D

  • Awesomeness.

  • that was cool how you had the keys you were pressing showing up like that

  • God Like.

  • Absolutely inspiring!

  • Wow...I've been watching piano videos since 2003 on Youtube consistently and I have to say this is probably THE single greatest piano piece a youtube pianist has posted..ever. You should honestly consider making records because one day or the other, you'll be invited to play at Carnegie Hall. Keep up the amazing work.

  • Thank you! And haha, Carnegie Hall. Very doubtful - I'm nowhere good enough for that. I am considering a CD though, with Michael Gluck (PianoSquall) as my idol for publishing a mix of popular anime/video game music.

  • Hey bro, I love your music pieces!

  • definitely there are no words to describe ur talent, such great musik. i have a request if it would be possible, i would like to see ya play the revolutionaire. anyway just keep playing such great music

  • ahahahaha Q#:D

  • Ha! First one to notice. 10 points to you!

  • WOW! THat's amazing!

  • again, you inspire me to go even more past my level just to play great music

  • My fingers wouldn't last two seconds if I was playing this...

  • No, try it! It's fun!

  • absolutely amazing. you're the best!

  • My name is Tommy too =D

    Yes, I am awesome.

Fucking epic song. You owe me new boxers.

  • hrjbb1*ahzb. wot? I don't have money for boxers... I'm a musician.

  • boxers is an underwear,

    he was ****ing his pants!

  • cool,you got my sub.

  • That was really beautiful. Great job, as usual!

  • You're incredible. Love the arrangement.

  • Wow! Amazing =]

  • This looks like it took a LOT of work. However long it took, it would take me 50 times longer to make it sound remotely as soon as this does... Amazing job! :D
