  • I have Lion. For everyone else who also has Lion, this is quite pointless.

  • OSX Lion is just killing the mood.

  • when i open expose it lists previous opend files down, lets say textedit. it shows all my txts i open before even if they're deleted how do remove them?

  • They should have kept the option for the previous method,

  • Baaaaaahhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • A fresh install of lion BLOWS!!! No Applications folder in the dock, no wallpapers from leopard or snow leopard, not showing ANYTHING on the desktop not even mounted DMG's. It's pissing me off!

  • What's the app thats showing your itunes music on the desktop?

  • @r0ssr0ss probably geektool

  • The spaces is still acceptable. I can take that. But the expose revolution bullshit is really really crap. How the fuck is it organizing shit for me? It overlaps so badly I can't even see anything. And then they've got this new 'app expose thing' which basically displays only the windows of what your apps are showing. That's convenient, but why did they switch the hand gestures so drastically? Snow leopard until they make a more comprehensive os.

  • How the fuck do i go back to leopard? Lion sucks massive balls. It doesn't add anything particularly useful, and is a frankly unfinished amalgam of iPad and Leopard. leopard was great. Now i can't fucking figure out how to use this bullshit. and the scroll sucks.

  • @HelloFascination do you mena mission control?

What pisses me off about OS X Lion is this poor excuse of a window manager. Things are overlapping even overlapping spaces that i need to click, i can't see minimized apps, and thins are so small sometimes. I could punch anyone who thinks this actually helps. I'm going back to snow leopard for now!

  • So no more hotcorners?

  • @KaMaN95 still there

  • What's the name of the song?!

  • lion sucks apple did a great mistake they have to do something about they "revolutionary operative system" i would like they put in the app store snow leopard so i could go back with out deleting my files jus as i did with the stupid lion

  • I miss the old spaces.

  • So it took some real work to get my MAC back to normal but it is ALMOST there---

NO--- I don't have 100% of my spaces back - but I am 90% where I used to be and its enough to still be productive on the MAC...YES--- I would like my hot keys back and my 9 geometrically laid out windows in spaces working the way they were - (APPLE FAIL for taking AWAY a feature) - but I do have expose (its now a SETTING IN YOUR TRACK PAD WINDOW FYI) and the APPLICATION VIEW working all over again.

  • What is that thing showing your current playing track on the desktop?

  • How did you keep your Applications Folder in the dock? I seriously prefer the folder over LaunchPad.

  • @Alexr197 just drag and drop.

  • @McSaibot Thnx for the tip. I didn't have to put in a new folder when I upgraded though. It was still there in my dock, which was nice.

  • @Alexr197 drag a folder from your finder to your dock, but im sure you know already ;)

  • @LxrKan Haha yeah. Thanks though :)

  • I hate this Expose so much, it's terrible. It overlaps the windows, if you have many open, and you can't even see which one you are clicking. it's TERRIBLE.

  • @HeIIoFascination - Totally agree. Or at least the ability to use expose within Mission Control. But yea, having the windows overlap when you have 5 safari windows open sucks... Also fullscreen apps using dual monitors is crap. Apple has some work to do. Some great features in Lion, but some are downgrades IMO.

  • @HeIIoFascination You mean mission control aka mission caos. I miss expose and spaces. I am thinking seriously to downgrade to Snow Leopard. I use a lot of windows and with mission caos it is just impossible!

  • @HeIIoFascination yea i know, mac os lion's mission control is a joke...when you're just running a browser, and you have about 4-5 browser windows open, they all get cluttered and pile on top of each other, can't even see what the contents are, i upgraded to lion, then just wiped everything out and got back to snow leopard, a total waste of time, they need to have an option for users to either use the mission control crap or just use the good old expose

  • @bludika Try something called "tabs." What are you using, netscape?

  • @TheAmbiguousNinja you're a dumbass, that defeats the whole purpose of having expose, i don't need to click on tabs to look see what browser window it is, if I got multiple browser windows open, I can just go to the one i'm looking for by pressing F3 on snow leopard and just move my cursor on top of that specific browser window, you wiseass, you can go fuck yourself nigger

  • @HeIIoFascination I agree. If I had known it was going to be like this I wouldve never updated to lion. I hope apple will give us the option to go back to the old expose.

  • @HeIIoFascination If you double tap (with your magic mouse or trackpad) on the dock icon of an application you get an expose-overview of all its windows in the Snow Leopard-style. It's not ideal, but at least there is a workaround for the overlapping-style expose from mission control.

  • @HeIIoFascination agreed...its the dumbest feature ever, i installed Lion and just re-installed snow leopard after 30 minutes of use because i hated it so much

  • @HeIIoFascination It's fucking shit! I hate Lion so much I'd rather use a PC. Now I've got to go through the long process of "downgrading" to the much better SL

  • This is perfect. Hopefully Apple won't do away with space in favor of Mission Control. I adore Spaces and it has become a must for any Mac I use.
