I'm thinking about buying one of these myself and I don't know if it's worth the money. Is it? I plan on using Pro Tools, Final Cut and After Effects.
thats totally wrong!!! you put matched sets on the same riser card dude, you should never have an odd number of sticks on a riser card, you obviously followed suit of the original memory installation, but that is totally wrong..i doubt your machine registered the memory correctly..thats how you install memory in a powermac g5 not a mac pro.
thanks for the vid it looks easy enough, where did you get your ram owc? and how much was it because i'm thinking about upgrading 4GB to 8GB in my Mac Pro
Thanks for your Comment. i Actually bought the Ram From a local Ram Company here in Canada. i bought 32gigs of ram for $1200 CAD for my Mac Pro. You will Notice a HUGE improvement when running 8gigs over 4gigs.. Good Luck!
