I still remember working a concert in about 1987 with Expose and Lisa Lisa in Las Cruces, NM at New Mexico State University. I got to escort Gioia back to the craft service area and I still remember her telling me that the trick to staying think is to eat dessert first (as she grabbed something from the dessert table). Was always nice to see someone who was a normal and nice person in the business especially after having do deal with the rudeness of Whitney H. a few weeks before. Thank G!
