I made these and it was DELICIOUSSS for vegan :) my mom is a vegitarian so i wanted to make her something that she could eat and it was soo yummy :)Thankzz!!!
dang....how did you sneak this one in without me seeing it?! looks good. i'm making your mini cakes on saturday. i was telliing a friend about it so she is coming over to help me experiment. lol
Wanna hear a funny story?! I was telling a gf about your channel since she is considering getting gastric bypass surgery. OK, so I tell her your channel name when it suddenly clicked...your name is like Al Pacino :) I am sure you've heard this your whole life, but I just figured it out :)
Allison I have another idea for a twist... you could use (instead of chocolate chips for something different) dried cranberries and almond slivers to change it up a bit... just use the same amount! Also for a bit of a fall - spice you could use a pinch of nutmeg.... with the spelt flour... yay!
oh yes - I forgot to add that lol! I always add a little cinnamon when I make my cranberry almond cookies... :-) but I like this recipe and I want to try it.
Olive oil is better for you. It is high in the essential omega 3's that we need. The canola has omega 6's which in general we get too much of and omega 6's have a strong tendency to cause inflammation. Who needs an inflamed body or brain for that matter. (Canola, sunflower, most vegetable oils and those hydrogenated fats and oils are all omega 6's) Just a food for thought for anyone trying to live a healthier lifestyle.! ;)
I actually know that Olive Oil is better for us...I was saying that you might want to use the canola because that's what the recipe originally called for ,however they turned out fine with the Olive Oil.
I mean't no disrespect regarding the ingredients you mentioned. I only mentioned it in part to help any fellow youtubers who may not be aware of some of the consequences of certain foods. Anything in excess is bad . Your receipe sounds great and your making good food and lifestyle choices. Best regards. ;)
They are so good girl...You could even add pnut butter or any kind of nuts..I'm thinking about making some kind of "snickerdoodle" ones with cinnamon.
