All Personal Watercraft made after 1999 will not go faster than 65mph unless modified. Its a US Coastguard regulation. Oh yeah, cool lighthouse!
@KrOmEiFiCaTiOn 75mph by what? The speedometers on any I've ever seen have registered anywhere from 5 to 15 mph fast. I work on all brands PWC and take most of them for a lake test. Check it with radar. Even GPS it not that accurate. My jetski hits 80 my the speedometer sometimes.
Showing fun at the lake...Cool. Just two points I want to make. First, the speedometers on PWC (and most boats for that matter) are very optimistic so... 60MPH; probably not. Second, you are on a Yamaha so it's not a "Jet Ski". "Jet Ski" is a trademarked name by Kawasaki. Kinda like asking for a "Kleenex" when you want a tissue. Otherwise, kinda funny and fun.

@JH1200A1 Thats weird, I have a 2009 seadoo, its not modified or anything, just bought it from them...its stock, and goes over 75 mph...
