I have an E-155C, and I love the little guy. EXCEEEEEPT... 7 months after purchase, the damn thing is trashed, despite moderate-at-most wear. The hinge is broken, the optical drive has been shot for a few months, and the stylus cubby jammed up after the second week. Other than that, it's not too bad.
Hey toasterpip, about the hinge that seems to be a really common problem for everybody. I work for an american university and we have like 150 of those computer (more than 50 show the same hinge problems) so we are developing a way to repair the hinge and make it stronger. Do you think you'll be interested?
Thanks for the review. I think I may get the new C-141 XL with Wacom, Similar looks than the E-155, 2.4 ghz Core 2 Duo, 3 Gigs of RAM, DVD RW+/-, Bluetooth, ATI Mobility Radeon HD Graphics. I just looked on the Gateway Website and they want $1300 for it. NOT BAD!
we are tablet pc factory in china.

I would, indeed. I haven't been able to make any headway in getting it fixed by Gateway/Acer. At this point, any way to repair it is welcome.

Nope, definitely a printer port. I'm an HD-addict...if I confused a DVI-out with a printer port, I'm turnin' in my 'geek-card'. ;)

OK, it does look quite different on the second look. The video quality isn't great though, I couldn't definitely tell the first time I watched it.

Are you sure that pink port isn't a DVI out?
