Although I do agree that this is an amazing act of selflessness from an animal, people should not be thinking the way that the top commentor does. This dog is a hero, yes, but there are heroes in every species, and there are also murderers. Dogs kill each other too, more often than humans kill humans. Just because a dog saved something doesn't make us 'sick-minded creatures'. It just makes that dog awesome.

it was a baby qnd his mom was around... as soon as the kids were kept away she ran to her baby and took him away... I would have taken him otherwise... would have never left him alone there. Don't worry I love animals so much would never let a needy creature without helping it.

Not only did I scream at them and took the stick from their hands but I aslo kicked them with the stick... Some kids were trying to burn a cat one time when I was walking home from school and I went to go stop them but before I could even get there my dog jumped over the fence and growled at the kids, I'm sure they shit bricks because he's a pitbull, (all bark no bite) and they ran away leaving the kitten behind. It's been a year later and that kitten is laying on top of my pitbull as I type this.

There is a major difference between humans and animals. Us humans are "smart". we can make great things but it is human nature to destroy, animals are smarter in the sense that they are pure. Humans have a lot to learn

and we are in no way the most intelligent people. Slime like Vick demonstrates why we are wild. We have intellect and misuse it. Animals have less but use what they have better than we do.
