  • religion is mind control. i am still suffering from godlag as in jetlag when such songs keep coming up

  • Really well rendered by Anicet

  • i think u need sme reharsals dude

  • I really like Anitet's Voice and his singing. He does it very beautifully. It is really a Golden voice. Rare people have such voice. Dev Besanv Ghalum Anicetacher ani tachea avazacher. Hem git bouch sobit.

  • @Desi4evah Exactly, the same as the rest of India adapted the language and culture of its erstwhile English masters who enslaved it for almost a century.

India's anxiety in absorbing Goa at the expense of its distinct culture is a travesty of justice. Goa should have been accorded the same status as Kashmir to preserve its distinct culture. Goans have no reason to be calm.

Let us enjoy the Konkani music, even if it is laced with beautiful Portuguese language and culture.

  • Both songs in this video are very touching. I guess the second song is about how the Apostles of Jesus gave up their possessions and traveled to distant lands to spread the Word of Christ. The first video has a message. It is all about how we run to God only when in trouble. Also about how we say the Our Father, but never forgive.

  • sounds like spanish... doesn't sound anywhere close to an indian language..

  • @Desi4evah, it is a Konkani song. If it sounds "spanish" it it because of the profound influence of Portuguese over 450 years on Konkani. What else did you expect? bollywood crap? Goa has a distinct culture which has survived in spite of Marathi imperialism and 50 years of Indian silent colonialism.

  • @proudgoan Yeah, but despite all the "crap," it still adapted the language and culture that enslaved it for years. NICE!

Learn to be a little calm in life!

  • @proudgoan absolutelu true.... bring colonised by india seems to b much worse than by the portuguese!!

  • Nice song and well sung. I don't understand konkani but come from a family with konkani roots. Konkani songs give me a warm feeling inside of my happy early childhood in Bombay when all the neighbours played the konkani songs that came on the radio every Sunday morning.

  • i love this song..

    please post the words

    or at least the meaning!

  • I lov him heheheheh
