Nice work getting that suspension dialed in to hook like that ! I was a little curious as to how that front end is holding up after seeing it fold that driver side wheel back for a slips second when it set back down. Had that happen with my G Body and popped a upper ball joint. Also come on guys chill out, we all love cars be it import or domestic. What is important is we go out and enjoy our cars, and I happen to run both. A 2nd Gen Eclipse and a 94 Z28 and a 79 Malibu, I love them all.

@DsMxDeadpool thanks man....yeah this pass was on drag radials BTW so the suspension was really working. Wizard Racing does all my suspension and chassis work. It hooks WAY harder on slicks (see my other bumper dragging wheelstand videos on here).... And it didn't break the balljoint on this pass the bolt holding the tierod on came loose and snapped the last few threads off of it..... so I was going 139mph at the end of the pass with nothing holding the tire straight except god and luck...

@Golempire uhhhhh build a bulletproof drivetrain, TH400 with a transbrake, 9" moser rearend and put a stout nitrous LT1 in front of it.... 600hp all motor and about 900-1000hp on spray....it ain't gonna be cheap but it's effective. The car has been 9.0@155 so far.... it's going on a diet now and will be 8.70 capable soon.
