Thanks for posting this, Kenny. I've just watched this with my son and my husband and they liked getting to see where I grew up. It's just fantastic. Thank you again!
also the picture at 1:19 that streat looks way different know but the talles building in that picture is still there and as far as i know its currently the tallest biulding in westville.
im 13 now and i went to st mary's catholic scholl unil it closed in 2010 and i really miss it i know way more kids now in the town because i go to the westville junior high but i miss sms it was an amazing school, westville is a really small nice town for settling down in, i think it would be pretty cool to retire there when i get old.
My grand grandfather moved house from Slovakia and he settled down in Westville. At least this is last known addres. And I´d like to find out if there are still children of my grand grandfather. Can anybody help me??....His last name was Petercak
I would like to thank you for this video, such great memories, I am a Rice and we lived on Park Street in Westville, I am one of the six Rice children. My grandfather was killed in the Westville coal mine and my father worked for the railroad, I would love a copy of the video but don't know how to share or download them! You made a lot of NH folks happy with these memories!
@dave3261 No, I'm from Westville, IL, too. I know there are LOTS of characters, lol, but I'd like to know which ones you're thinking of. (Sorry for the late reply - didn't even know you replied to my comment all that time ago until I just got on here again recently.)

Awesome video man. I think they should show this at the schools. They never told us much about local history.

When was this shot? I'm trying to see if I can recognize anyone in this video and the other one.
To dave3261: What characters?
MaggieLovesJimmy 3 years ago
maybe you can do a video on all of the characters that westville had over the years, and you have to admit we had quite a few.
dave3261 3 years ago
must be talking about a different Westville, the one I remember was loaded with them, oh well........
